OriginalBroccoli
Why don't we give Antonio Brown another shot, I think he might do well. I remember the last game he played in when he was having the drop ball/fumble problem he was on the side line praying that he wasn't going to get cut. Maybe if he got signed back he would play better

Redskins4ever
I doubt if they will bring Brown back. He had his chance to show he can play receiver in the NFL and he responded with dropped passes during the preseason. Then he fumbles on opening day, contributing to the Bears only score of the day. No, he will not be back. Brown was brought in as a return specialist because of his pure speed. But as far as his hands, he has to go to NFL Europe and develop himself more as a receiver if he's going to make it in the National Football League. Thats why Brunell and Portis are.......... still starting OK thats extreme, I know - I guess he was just not a core redskin like Smoot and Pierce ....... who are gone I give up

stwasm
I read this morning that the Redskins could sign another receiver and, among the names mentioned were Mr. Brown and Kevin Dyson. http://www.washtimes.com/sports/20051121-115213-4406r_page2.htm
red zone
Brown had one nightmarish game followed by the opening day fumble. It was definitely a mental thing with him. He caught a bunch of balls prior to that. However, Jimmy Farris is back so I'm sure AB won't be gettin' a call from the 'Skins anytime soon. OriginalBroccoli
i wouldn't mind having Kevin Dyson back on the team, I always thought he was a good reciever, and Antonio Brown would love to make up for week 1 and the preseason

LiveStrongSkins
I believe he is itching for a chance to prove his worth. I think it really hurt him being cut. I think he can be a GREAT kick returner if he hangs on to the ball. The bottom line is, we arent getting enough out of who we have. Also, even though his hands are suspect, he is a guy who can benefit coverage being rolled to Moss. He can definetly create seperation from the slot position, we will just have to see if him and Brunell can connect. I'm excited about Brown coming back. Even though he has made his fair share of mistakes, he can take one to the house at any point.
thelarkascend1ng
we'll see. that preseason game where he was dropping all the balls was pretty heartbreaking - he looked more frustrated than we probably were. he seemed really excited to be playing, at least, and i think he can work wonders for the offense if he finds his hands. EnFoRcEr_uPu
People keep saying he's going to be back on special teams, but I was under the impression they brought him in as a WR...
Drex
I think your going to see Brown take Parson place at KR, and Farris seeing most of the time at the WR position.
EersSkins05
I have never seen a professional football player drop more passes in a single game than Antonio Brown dropped in that preseason game. That being said, he was a helluva player for my WVU Mountaineers, and he's deserving of another chance to make it in the NFL. He'll make you proud, folks. LiveStrongSkins
I think the reason he was signed is because he can do both. He can help fill Thrash's return duties and also was familiar with our passing game to help fill some voids there. I think he is going to capatilize on the fact that Joe Gibbs believed in him enough to give him a second chance. Also, not making any excuses but that day he had the bad game his mother was rushed to the hospital before the game. Just the game before that, he was making great catches and smoking DB's. No one seems to talk about that game... only the bad gets brought up. We will be allright. Obviously, we need a c hance because what we are doing isnt working. I would love to see more creativity out of the offense, but what do I know.
jasimpson
I excited to have Brown back, hes goin to be playing with a chip on his shoulder. Anyways, you got to take a chance on a guy who is arguably the fastest guy in the league, trust me, if he gets in the the open field no one is going to catch him. TheGreek1973
I just don't know how good our ST blocking will be without Sellers in there because in the past couple of weeks I say our ST blocking has been very good. With the speed that Antonio Brown brings to the STs I will not be suprized to see him break a couple of long ones As a WR if this guy had the hands of Santana Moss he could be his twin. I mean during preseason he was smoking CBs left and right. The one pass he dropped in that preseason game he had burned the CB a good 7 yards if not more. It was just sick to watch because the other 3 drops were more of the same. Run great routes and was wide open but....I hope his off time was spend working with the machine catching balls. jimster
I think your going to see Brown take Parson place at KR, and Farris seeing most of the time at the WR position. Bingo. ...I guess we failed at the Rich Parsons project.

red zone
Through training camp I was amazed at how much work Antonio had obviously put in on his route running. During pre-season he could get open at will against legitimate starters. Then he had the disasterous, last pre season game with the four drops. The fumble in the opener was his last straw. I'm pulling for him to succeed this go 'round. Man the dude can fly and separate like no ones business. He needs to just relax.
DB44
He should be limited to primary kick returner, and wr fly patterns only. No Punts, and no short stuff(too much of a chance of fumbling or batting a ball to a defender for an INT) :2cents:
forbeskin
Hopefully during his off time, he has been working on some things, we shall soon see.
