I look at things like the snow disater (no pun intended) and other management nightmares that occured under his watch.Free tix to Hoya Hoops is cool, but it's hardly a measuring stick for a mayor's competence. Once again i am not saying he was very competent...just saying that his Mayoral tenure was not just him getting caught on tape smoking crack. They like him, because he "fights" the establishment and the man, and it seems as if the DC poor believe in that me against the world attitude so when Barry does some they think it is great, even if that something does not better DC as a whole. If im poor and uneducated, free ball game tickets probably overshadows a lot of short comings because they are not understood.
