That's because Birk isn't a big fan of the direction of the union. The NFLPA couldn't find a more qualified person to become its executive director than Birk when his playing career is finished. ) There is a well-heeled local buyer for the Twins, but he needs to be assured the team will get a new ballpark. ) Some people think that if Arizona coach Denny Green is able to trade for quarterback Daunte Culpepper, left, the Vikings might be able to use the Cardinals' 2006 first-round draft pick to trade with San Diego for quarterback Philip Rivers. ... @DCGoldPants
dumb. But, if I were Denny and believed in Daunte, I'd trade for him in AZ...with those WR's, that would be fun to watch.
TD_washingtonredskins
Hell, if your the Vikings and things are going the way they are now...what's the harm in it? Build an offense around a young QB, some decent WRs, and run the ball some and they'll be OK.
Mr. S
Daunte with the receivers in Arizona could give him the resurgence he needs.

China
LOL!!! The Vikings would be stupid to trade Culpepper, I would laugh so hard.... This is the same team that gave away everything for Herschel Walker, and has lost its place in the draft because they couldn't get their pick in in time...it wouldn't surprise me. Drex
The Vikings would be insane to trade Culpepper for an unproven commodity such as Rivers.
