TODD Posted October 9, 2005 Share Posted October 9, 2005 I don't like the Lelie-Rogers matchup for us. Ashlie Lelie is a burner who constantly runs streaks and deep routes downfield. From what we've seen, albeit not much, Carlos struggles a bit with that. I think you'll see Shanahan try to exploit this matchup often, as Lelie is targeted a lot in Denver's passing game. Hopefully Carlos Rogers can live up to be the player that Chump Baily is and was with the Redskins. Carlos has the potential....time will tell I reckon. Brunell should know when to fire it there and when not to. He's been protecting the ball pretty well so far. With his first start under his belt and more NFL experience, I think we'll see Carlos continue to improve.
