New Orleans is in the Super Bowl Rotation, the worst case scenario is 5 years before the city is live able, that is again a worst case scenario. So I decided to check if there is a Super Bowl in the near future considering the last one was 2002 after 9-11. Super Bowl XL, Detroit, Mich., Feb. 5, 2006 Super Bowl XLI, Miami, Fla., 2007 Super Bowl XLII, Glendale, Ariz., 2008 Super Bowl XLIII, Tampa, Fla., 2009 Also the Sugar Bowl is home to New Orleans so that will have to be located for a few years. I think you really meant a cold-weather city WITHOUT a dome......the problem is that the corporate fatcats aren't going to shovel out that kind of dough to sit in the cold. hail2skins Posted September 3, 2005 Share Posted September 3, 2005 Surprisingly, I looked and it doesn't even appear that there is any Final Four or regional final scheduled for the Superdome for the foreseeable future.
