I don't know a whole lot, but I do know we rushed 41 times in game three and thats what I want to see, 35+ rushes in a game will greatly increase our chances of winning. We pass 35 times in a game? Heh, with the rate at which Ramsey throws picks, our chances of winning games go in the toilet.

I don't think we'll see some sort of all out air attack. I think we'll see more shots taken downfield and alot of out patterns, but the onus will be on Portis. We'll run the ball all day if it is there.

If we can run the ball well, score and control the clock, why do anything else?

I would say because the RBs back then were the nail in the coffin. We had the lead, and were running out the clock... and they couldn't stop it! I'd remember that too...

I looked up the stats and the 91 skins averaged like 35 rushes per game and 28 passes per game, of course the passes we mostly deep balls, but they were a ball control offense, BIG play offense that year.
