  1. he was "mocked", many see him as a good fit for WCs.
  2. Clue me is, is JD really 210? if not, what?
  3. The agent's emoji is, per the emoji dictionary, mocking and scornful towards the Tweeter.
  4. AL was built like a truck but run into the ground by the Colts, never given ample time to recover.
  5. I want for the Comms to pick the BAQB (Best Available QB), I want the Comms to select DM and let him sit, I think that they will select JD based upon KK's answering "The KC QB" when asked for nan example of his ideal QB. Having said that, I doubt that more than two of the 1st five-six QBs selected in the '24 draft will pan out as long-term starters, and I doubt that JD, at the 14th percentile size of pro QBs is going to be more than a footnote five years from now.
  6. JJ=202 lbs., per Kurt Warner, "never had to carry the team, win with his arm", concerns anyone?
  7. Forgive me if this question has been asked, but from a durability standpoint, how concerned is anybody about JD's weight? He tall enough, many QBs had the same weight (Montana, Brees), Kyler Murray is short and light, but historically I do not see to many QBs with the BMI (height/weight) JD has who have lasted long or made any meaningful mark in NFL/team history from a franchise QB standpoint.
  8. Two and one-half unsolicited opinions; 1) Commanders came out on the bottom of the Howell trade deal, 2) Trading up for CW will require far more capital than warranted by the perceived ceiling differential in light of roster needs, and places tremendous pressure on a rookie a QB & GM. 2) a. Opinion #2: This possibility smells Syneresque. "Guff on" as a wise man once was said in the old days.
  9. Assumption, 1) Commanders stay put, 2) CW is off the board AND 3) they pick QB, Question: Whom do you think they WILL pick, Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye?
  10. Washington is DFL-The Harris Group has its work cut out for them. https://nflpa.com/washington-commanders-report-card-2024 Overview Josh Harris purchased the Washington Commanders in July this past year. The organization received low marks across the board last year, so there is no shortage of issues that need marked improvement after years of neglect. The one bright spot for the club is the players’ ranking of the Commanders strength coaches, with 98% of player respondents saying that they get the best possible individualized plan. The survey data reveals a long list of items with the workplace that continue to be problems, and players expressed that they have grown tired of the deficiencies. (This will not help to retain UFAs or attract talent) To start, the locker room is small and in desperate need of renovation, with players reporting multiple sewage leaks. The training room is significantly understaffed, with only 52% of players saying they receive an adequate amount of one-on-one treatment time for injury recovery and prevention. Equipment in the weight room and training room was described as below the standards required of a professional sports franchise, and the Commanders are one of seven teams where players believe the club’s facility is no better than other places they could train offsite. When asked what the number one issue respondents want to prioritize for fixing, most players couldn’t come up with just one. Instead, the common answer was the entire facility. The players understand that the new club ownership didn’t create these current problems, and they are hopeful that the new team ownership is willing to do what it takes to fix them.
  11. I watched the presser and I have grave doubts about the hire and Adam Peter's credibility. I believe that he straight out lied when he said (paraphrasing here) "we knew DQ was our guy the first time we spoke". Really? 1) Didn't the entire WC executive team fly to Detroit to speak with and as it was assumed, offer the HC position to BJ ONLY to learn mid-flight that he was going to pass? 2) What about Baltimore DC Mike MacDonald? Didn't he interview with Washington and choose Seattle, ostensibly over Washington? I think that DQ was a desperation, face-saving hire and will be nothing more than a bridge coach once Harris & Co. get their dance steps down.
  12. Former Arizona HC going 28-37-1 over four seasons, helped coach quarterback Caleb Williams, expected to go #1 in April, what promise does this hold for the Commanders?
  13. I noticed that both candidates for President of Football Ops have degrees in psychology. This is telling for the direction of the franchise and a stark contrast to the Snyder era where players were treated like chess pieces.
  14. https://bitly.ws/Zboe "Washington Commanders coaches 'saw Chase Young as an undisciplined player with bad habits' before trading defensive end to the 49ers" Reminds me of Lavar Arrogance.
  15. Chase's father called into a podcast and said that Chase is 6'7", "I'm 6'9" and he almost looks me in the eye" he said. Online stats indicate his height is 6'5".....He IS tall, plays tall (high center of gravity). How tall is he really?
  16. I (re)viewed the first two games of the 2021 season (his 2nd in the league), and regardless of the match ups, CY failed to place ANY QB pressure or beat OL. All of his blocking opponents looked good against him. Sweat often opposed the same Tackles and was considerably more effective in pressuring the QB. Compared to other DE's league wide, he appeared noticeably weak in overall effort and athletic ability.
  17. "There's still 9 days until the opener, Plenty of time for this to resolve itself. I have no idea why anyone would suggest that a "stinger" would keep Chase out for opening day at this juncture, unless there's a more serious issue not being reported." The term "quiet quit" comes to mind and I think he does not want to be on the field. Winners find a way.......
