I don't think the NFL will do this because Snyder could just threaten to release more emails that implicate Howdy Doody Goodell and the other owners in collusion to keep players' salaries low.

Snyder pledged full cooperation with the last investigation too, and sent his paid goons to intimidate witnesses. Of course, he can always get away with it since Tiffani's lawyers said she won't cooperate...Snyder will just say we tried but the other side didn't play ball.

Why? Because Dan Snyder sees other human beings as suckers. He made his millions as a telemarketer, which obviously proves that people are dumb according to him. So why wouldn't they believe another sham investigation? I'm sure private 'investigators' are already knocking on Tiffani's door and digging through her past to find dirt.

Anyone who sues old ladies is a terrible person. Or hands out bags of apples in lieu of Xmas bonuses to his employees. Or puts gallons of vanilla ice cream on his defensive coordinator's desk to melt, with a note saying "I'm serious. I don't like vanilla." Or hands out stale peanuts from a defunct airline to his fans. Or has 9/11 tribute hats with the profits going straight into his pocket. Or... Oh heck, just read Dave McKenna's list...although it could use an update! https://washingtoncitypaper.com/article/221900/the-cranky-redskins-fans-guide-to-dan-snyder/

Someone mentioned in this thread that Snyder threatened to sue 106.7 and that's why the Junkies haven't brought it up since. It's truly sad that, although we have personal freedom and the First Amendment in this country, the threat of litigation by wealthy men can shut down any and all discussion of a topic that they deem necessary to protect their position. It's funny...Snyder used to use the phrase "What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong." when he defended his decision to sue the City Paper back in 2011. https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/snyder-talks-about-city-paper-lawsuit/1909745/

I don't think Tanya deserves a pass just because she's a woman. History is full of enabling women like Eva Braun. Her interview where she said the women's claims were "ridiculous" shows which side she is on. Wouldn't be surprised if she posts some Twitter rant someday and tries to slut-shame the victims.

You mentioned something no one else really has: the lack of empathy from regular women towards the cheerleaders. It's like the think they are floozies who deserve what they get because of their beauty. Just like how Snyder and his lackeys treated them.

And yet Goodell and his clown organization continue to foist their cynical breast cancer awareness and market pink memorabilia to women every October.

In reality, it was the latter. Arguably, this is the single worst example of chicanery in which the league office has engaged over the last 20 years — and there have been plenty of them." This is what happens when people try to cover things up...the coverup is worse than the crime. Just ask Richard Nixon.

Why would they? I don't think they're going to help Congress to punish themselves at this point. Goodell must go!!

So Wilkinson is part of the secret handshake group that includes Goodell and Snyder. This needs to go to court. Funny, I don't remember all these scandals occurring when Tagliabue was the commish. 🤨

Yes, and the NFL gave them a 4-page summary. I don't think anything will force Goodell to cooperate. Threatening their anti-trust exemption will never garner enough votes.

It's getting to the point that only a judge will be able to determine what can be released and what can't. What happens if the NFL doesn't give Congress what they want by the 14th? Nothing will happen...I don't think Goodell or Snyder are afraid of being called before Congress.

The only thing that could force a change would be for big sponsors to threaten to pull out of the NFL. Nothing else will force them to get rid of Snyder.

Great analogy. Aggressive, narcissistic authoritarian leaders tend to enable a group of lackeys who only report what he wants to hear, and who are afraid to tell the truth because they value their jobs more than their integrity. The truth doesn't get to the leader because of these gatekeepers, just like Hitler ordering units around during the defense of Berlin without understanding that most of the units on his precious map only had 20-30% of their listed manpower. Unfortunately this dynamic still exists, and likely always will. Now the gatekeepers control all the social media so their dear leader is shielded from the real world.

Yes, the NFL will "investigate" which will probably mean sending thugs to intimidate Tiffani at home. Then Howdy Doody Goodell will get up on a podium and announce that their investigation didn't find any evidence and that her claims are baseless. That's how the Billionaire's Boys Club game works. Nothing will ever happen to Snyder, because the NFL is covering up for him. Why? We're pretty sure he or one of his flunkies released the Gruden emails, which hinted at collusion among NFL owners to keep players' salaries low. Howdy Doody knows that revelation could destroy all credibility the NFL has, so they will defend Snyder at all cost.

The NFL still won't release the report. But maybe they could get Congress off their back if they forced Snyder out, since it's pretty clear from the hearing that Snyder was fully aware and a participant in creating the toxic culture.

She has a great point though. The NFL shouldn't be demanding taxpayer money to build stadiums for billionaires if they're going to foster racist/sexist working cultures.

And speaking of Haskins...🤣 Gotta wonder about Tomlin's mental state: https://riggosrag.com/2022/01/24/washington-fans-wont-believe-mike-tomlin-comments-dwayne-haskins/ The Steelers are planning to place a restricted free agent tender on Dwayne Haskins this offseason.
