Yeah we do know for sure what his ceiling is. He's been in the league 6 going on 7 years and has only managed to make it off the practice squad once. Going with him is suicide and wasting the defensive core we have now.

He’s not a starting QB. He’s just one of numerous backups that will get figured out once more teams have tape on him.

You can cross off teams that are struggling with cap space at least because Stafford is gonna want an extension.

Somewhat relates to QB but I think the days of “building through the draft” are over. Having a high first is very valuable but outside of that the draft isn’t exactly a science. We’re seeing contenders nowadays go for big moves simultaneously while drafting with their original picks, mostly because the league is very year to year. It’s why I wouldn’t get that worked up on the capital spent on Watson or Stafford or a trade up for a QB.

Can we please please please stop calling for mediocre/terrible QBs being forced into the starting job? No bridgewater, no Kyle Allen, no Fitzpatrick, no Jimmy G, none of that. If they don’t get one of the top 4 QBs in the draft or Watson/Stafford/Dak/Rodgers then the offseason was a failure.

They spent a first rounder on Love and aren’t in a position for the top 5 QBs in the draft. If Rodgers goes they’re seeing what they have in him.

I don’t want Okudah. He’s talented but he was terrible last year and there’s a chance he was a product of Chase.

QB is the most valuable position by far. The difference between a mediocre QB and a very good QB is multiple wins.

That’s just sad and pathetic if a scout leaving is your breaking point with this team, and not the other far more heinous things that have happened the past 25 years.
