  1. are you saying that as a good thing or a bad thing?
  2. what about when he faces the Road Warriors in one on one matches? Maybe it's just the fact I wasn't there, but looking back at Flair's potential opponents from the beginning of the Horsemen to the late 80's when Windham, and then Luger and Sting arrived, it's not much to say that he was better than his opponents. Outside of Dusty and Nikita in the single side they didn't go onto much
  3. I'm not really a basketball guy, but looking at the roster could it just have been he felt they weren't built for it. In a lineup with only one traditional big guy they'd have alot of people they could swap out. Less so at the other positions
  4. I never saw much from Austin. I saw Stunning Steve in WCW and it seemed like he had nothing I think in kayfabe they generally called Barry like 6' 7'' so he was supposed to be a big guy. I remember when he teamed with Dustin they were frequently referred to as the Two Tall Texans
  5. there's not many midcarders people would have bought as beating Lesnar considering they wanted him to destroy the main eventers to make him look good. I mean I remember when people said having Miz just stand his ground against him was insult to Lesnar
  6. so, does it look like the Wizard have any plans for their open roster spot?
  7. I believe college basketball wants the upsets. They could play the game on a computer if they jsut wanted the team that was statistically best
  8. Doughty survived three coaching staffs, so did Golston so it's hard to justify the claims he was only there because the coaches were lazy On the years he was on the team some attempts to improve the position included Anderson Russell, DeJon Gomes, Chris Horton, Jordan Bernstine, Jordan Pugh. These are the kind of people you're talking about. They made the team. Sometimes they played ahead of Doughty. Then they got hurt or they stopped playing better than him
  9. just another case where Snyder is trying to emulate the Gibbs teams of the 80s The Redskins cut Danny Wuerrful when Spurrier wanted him as the backup QB
  10. the OL they were most likely wanted to draft was available with a later pick, and they wanted to sit him for a year. The OL they would have most likely drafted if they'd stayed put ended up being beaten out by a seventh rounder.
  11. seems obvious and not at all confusing Vinny Cerrato was here for ten years, maybe more. Bruce Allen has been here for five, has been the man for only one. Cerrato was around for almost one year of Turner, one year of Schottenheimer and four years of Gibbs and nothing unusual happening, six years where something close to competence wasn't that hard to achieve. Allen has been around for four years of Shanny and one of Gruden, and had to deal with the the salary cap bull****
  12. If Griffin doesn't want to be a dual threat QB then why do they still use read option some and why when he runs will he finish those runs off with plays like that back first dive?
  13. I think Lauvao was the only one you can call a terrible signing. Clark was a stopgap and Porter was just basically a nickel or dime back. The Jason Taylor trade was made out of desperation because we'd already lost two DEs to injury on the first day of camp, and let one walk in free agency. And frankly it's amazing how Skins fans will blame anyone while he's here, but on his departure he's absolved and "I never really believed he did this. It was always Snyder and" whoever is still here.
  14. for me it's one of the nicest shades of yellow out there. Any nicer ones are ones you'll never see on a football uniform
  15. they were gold before the 70s though, just not this shade. Frankly I don't like gold-gold in fabric(or much of anything really) so I'm perfectly happy with this shade. I just wish we'd wear burgundy with the white jerseys
  16. I heard something about a new Redskins uniform submitted to the league on Redskins Nation today but only the tail end of the sentence and then Michael complained about having to go into it again. Can anyone tell me what he was talking about?
  17. all white is so damn boring. As far as I'm concerned burgundy is the most important color in the team's scheme, so either the jersey or the pants should be that.
  18. I think he did that on his own. He worked in developmental as a guy named Leo Kruger, and mercenary/Kraven the Hunter sort of character, but with the Shield as mercenaries he wasn't going anywhere with that.
  19. even when we were winning I liked the Burgundy jerseys better and hated how rarely we wore them
