Oh... Anthony Lynn is a great hire. Pairing Kliff, Lynn, and Johnson could be incredible.

Goodness. This has to be the best defensive staff Washington has ever had.

Absolutely. Seeing Chase get that sack pissed me off.

I know he was blocked by Dal@ss, but I'm wondering if it's still possible to get Al Harris if Zimmer doesn't want him? Probably a long shot, but could still happen
If Zimmer decides not to keep him on staff, he becomes essentially a free agent.

Just so I’m clear, it’s being suggested that hiring the sons of Gary Kubiak and Bob Slowik weren’t already (or wouldn’t be) nepotism hires?
But Kliff Kingsbury and/or Joe Whitt in DC are?
Yes. You are clearly understanding the insanity

Stuff like this doesn’t matter to me. It’s nice and all that people around the league like him, but that has nothing to do whether he’s a good coach or not. I’m not particular impressed with his resume and career thus far, and I feel as though they made a “personality” hire. Hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think Quinn will get far in DC.
Ron was a personality hire. Dan is an Xs and Os hire with a side of much needed leadership

Just for clarity, Slowick in Houston was a nepotistic hire.
Not according to his above post. He is so clueless its hilarious!!! Would shock me to learn he is older than 12.

Assuming you aren’t being sarcastic I’ll answer, tho I suspect you are:
No, hiring the best assistant from the Shanahan tree wouldn’t be nepotism if done right. Mike Shanahan staffs are in Miami, San Fran, LA, Cincinnati, Green Bay, and Minnesota. Scheduling 3-5 real interviews to determine maturity, plan, and terminology should’ve been the plan. From there pick the best man where vision and personality align.
Now if Kyle Shanahan called Dan Quinn via the food ole days in Atlanta and said “Hey, I’ve got this kid in Kubiak that’ll be great for your offense,” and he’s wink wink hired after a couple quick interviews then yes, that would be nepotism.
Hope this answers your question.
So Quinn interviews Kliff, thinks he is exactly what he wants as his OC, but you think he only hired him because the media says he is good? You dont think Quinn interviewed Kliff? Or think that Whitt had his interview the past few years under Quinn?

e.) that’s the million dollar question. Person you trust or unknown quantity that may transform your team like Slowick in Houston. Again, that’s what interviews are for.
You arent aware that Slowik worked with Demeco Ryans in SF are you? LOL. You just argued against yourself!!!!!!
Gotta love morons!

About what sir? It’s impossible for anybody to be “right or wrong” at this point. This is a subjective debate about perception and merit and whether it has been effectively adjudicated to hire a coaching staff.
Because Kliff wasnt permanently successful at a previous stop or from a specific coaching tree now means he is not worth hiring? He was only hired because he is white and the media likes him? How stupid are you? And Joe Whitt was only hired because he knows Dan? Really? He has no qualifications? Really? You must do no research except listening to the dumbest loudmouth on television. This sort of stupidity is shameful and an exact example of the problems in todays society. It is exactly why we are dealing with such idiocy as reverse racism and BLM!

Amen! Joe Whitt is a nepotism hire. Is he the best man for the job? Maybe, probably, since he’s one of Dan’ guys. But he is an unknown, being given a shot, I don’t care that he’s black. So that’s a plus.
Conversely, last I saw Kingsbury he was drowning in Arizona with a lost the locker room running a bottom half of the league offense WITH Kyler Murray. Where’s the thorough search for an innovative coordinator. I’ve heard several names on this board like Kubiak out of San Fran or someone of the Shanahan tree. So when the process doesn’t look thorough, but comfortable, it gives folks like Steven A. a reason to start “bloviating!” And it’s hard to argue.
You are wrong. Quite simply wrong.

Quinn from DC to HC. Whitt from Def Pass Game Coord to DC. Harris from DB coach to Def Pass Game Coord. All 3 represent promotions. Dallas can't stop the hires.
Not sure the last one is a true promotion. Awesome if it is though. I think anything below DC is all on the same level.

Thinking that Kris Richard could be hired as DB coach. He was with Quinn in Seattle and helped build the Legion of Boom.
Him or Al Harris would be phenomenal

Gibby in Air Raid? Yes plz
I dont think gibby will be re-signed. Likely looking at low cost FA or late round draft pick to fill his spot. His injury history likely precludes him from being someone to be thought of as a reliable option anymore.

I would like to get Kingsbury...so we probably won't. He'll probably stay with the 49ers or give up his career to become a Guatemalan basket weaver salesman or something. Until there is pen to paper, there is no deal in my mind.
He is currently with USC. The college team... he has absolutely nothing to do with the 49ers.

I am a fan. That is short for fanatic. I can have all the problems I want and dont have to admit it. I am entitled to every over and under reaction I feel like having. Do not tell me how to react. You may react however you want. I will do the same. This fanbase has been through the worst of the worst. Get out of here with the "we need to be patient and let these guys work." We aint in charge. We simply pays the money that lets them do the job.
"This fanbase has a problem".... LOL!!!!!!!!! This fanbase is entitled to do as they please. You are on a message board formerly entitled "EXTREMESKINS". LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Get out of here if you dont like the reactions.
