I personally don't think its a big deal and when put into context with the rest of what he said, I don't think its a bad thing at all. Its a challenge to the team from their leader, for one. Second, he put it on himself to be locked in as well. I think its leadership, ala The Truth. 

What do yall think? Misplaced bravado and ****iness, or confidence and a challenge? 

For reference I am not worried about any team in the east if our play stays consistent. And yes I include the (reeling) Cavs in that. 

Problem is "Max Player" is not equal to "Great" player to me.

I dont think he is constantly great either. Though I think he can be. Its, honestly, the Kirk Cousins argument. If we dont pay him at the position then who do we pay? Ill take Harden and Clay over him right now. Other than that? Who are we picking up at the two who is demonstratively better than him?  

Just like Kirk, Beal is gonna get a max deal regardless of if we give him one or not. If its not going to be us, we need to get better at the position, not worse. Thats really as far as my opinion goes on it. I think it makes sense if you think about it that way @Kosher Ham

Beal Is definitely a max player. Sure hes got more to improve on, but today's NBA is as much about potential as it is anything else (IMO) and dudes potential, ESPECIALLY with Wall and Otto, is sky high. 

He just has to stay healthy

Honestly I wont be mad if they lose, the Celtics are a good team. But they better not go out like mice. Give them all they can handle if you lose, see the ****ers in the playoffs.

Thats really sad man. You dont have to be blind and schizophrenic to be terrified by 5 cops coming into a small convenience store with guns drawn and a dog. I cant imagine the fear going through that in those conditions. Then to be put to death like that.

That crossover by John Wall on the assist to the Polish machine was insane.  Sato looked comfortable and competent and Oubre had him a Hell of a game.  A laugher with our starters resting for the 4th quarter?  Holy **** - after a truly ****ty start this thing is starting to come together!
