ESPN: Commanders to retire Darrell Green's No. 28: 'Means a ton'

I agree. If you think I don’t, give my post another read lol. I said in my ideal world, only Baugh and Green have retired numbers for us (but that I know many won’t agree) -
People have different frames with different potential for putting on weight and muscle. Daniels has thin shoulders and thin hips. If you believe in him, that has to be fine with you—he has to be able to succeed without getting very big because his frame doesn’t have room for it. He needs to be able to succeed around his current size to have a chance

Great move. Maybe unpopular but I think Green should be only the second jersey number we have retired (after Baugh). I won’t argue anyone about it but imo it should only be Baugh and Green right now. Ring of fame, statues, whatever else—tons of deserving players, especially from the original Gibbs era. But as far as jersey number retirements, you can only do so many of those throughout a franchise’s history. Baugh and Green stand above the rest as being deserving, each representing an important historic era and historic career. But again, I get this is very personal and arbitrary, so I won’t argue others who feel differently. I just think retiring a number should be the absolute greatest, rarest honor, even above a gold HOF jacket or a Ring of Honor placement. -
Belichick would have been a Snyder-like hire. Out of the league, peak years behind him, nobody else lining up to hire him. Peak 2010’s Snyder hire. Not to mention the staff he wanted to hire would have been largely awful, exactly like most of his Patriots staff was by the end—with the few younger guys with potential staying with Mayo. Horrible idea. Even if he was 100% okay working under Peters it would’ve been awful, and would’ve been the first sign that Harris had no idea what he was doing.

Idk if it happens but they have a good LT, Latham as RT would be the most Harbaugh pick ever. Some people here have been saying Alt was overrated for months, though. And some people have been saying they aren’t a lock to take a WR at all

https://koacolorado.iheart.com/featured/koa-denver-broncos/content/2024-04-24-benjamin-allbright-2024-nfl-mock-draft/ Allbright is plugged in. He projected enough trades that there’s no way this will end up accurate but it’s interesting at least to get a glimpse of the things he’s obviously been hearing He has us trading 36 + 78 for 27 to take Patrick Paul. Personally I think we’d get a little something back there in reality, maybe a 5th
