Agree DC, felt to me like they were there for the taking, and that substitution had a very negative effect on your attacking threat. BR should have gone for the kill instead.

Well to fair to him. Delph saved you the future embarrassment by staying loyal and extending his deal at Villa. Otherwise, he would have been a Liverpool player in the Summer.

I'd disagree here GHH. I think Sturridge is widely recognised as a top quality striker throughout the country. He is quality. The problem is, we all know he can never ever stay fit, and therefore can't be tagged as the best of anything IMO.

BR is being way too clever for his own good....Chelsea were there for the taking, at least a point IMO...the guys hanging himself out to dry at the moment.

Agreed that Balotelli needs Sturridge back, to basically do his hard yards for him. Not sure Sturridge will appreciate that too much to be honest, but his new deal today will keep him sweet for now. As for foreign travel, France 98 was the final straw for me....total carnage and nothing short of a death wish. Damn shame really.

What's your honest take on Balotelli then GHH. Every Liverpool fan I know is playing hell about him. Guy looks moody, disinterested and just a bit lazy.

Yes, I think it is. Screwed over for the penalty, but still suck big time in defence. Good to watch for the neutral though.
