I think you've done the same as Spurs did with the Bale money. BR has blown 100mil and the increase in talent, on balance with the Suarez sale, is marginal. You are competitive no doubt, and the league itself is built on mediocrity. So I'm sure you will have something to say in May, but in the main it's an average squad IMO. I said before the international break that Sturridge was a key player, but always an injury waiting to happen...and once the inevitable injury happens you look weak up front. Sterling is a quality player. Exciting prospect. After that I'm not seeing what all the hype is about with your squad.

It's a balanced, unbiased opinion about a sport I clearly know more about than you... Utd have been written off too soon. Simple as that. I agree. They have as much going for them as Liverpool & Arsenal from what I've seen thus far.

Outside of Chelsea and Citeh, the rest of the top 6 is a wash for me. You could be right, but it's too close to call right now. I'll say this though, they aren't much different to Liverpool in terms of talent & coaching.

It was the perfect fixture today. However, too many have shot their bolt way too soon over the state of Utd. They'll be there or there about come the end of the season with the other second tier group like Arsenal and Liverpool IMO.

Agreed. Utd are going to hard out a few stuffings this season. They may be average at the back, but the goals will come for them. Horrible to watch, without doubt. They ain't a garbage team though.

Nope...I believe he's an ass who is best rid of. But his outright quality as a football player carried an average team. Without that quality, your team is average to good at best.
