LvG may be the most confidence sapping manager out there so working for Mourinho should bring the best out of him - whatever that level may be. Some indication out there that we may be willing to pay the 120M Euros for Pogba which is insane. If I could have my pick of any player on the planet it would be Verratti but the Qataris have more money than God and doubtful they are sellers at any price. So looking forward to the league though it should be fantastic with all the managerial talent!

Best guess is he gets pushed deeper into midfield as we saw toward the tail end of LvG's reign though every permutation of our current midfield options leaves plenty to be desired. A Schneiderlin-Rooney-Herrera midfield doesnt really inspire you (with Schweinsteiger and Carrick off the bench) and is pretty static. I think Jose would love to sign a rock in midfield in the Kante or Matic mould with a James Rodriguez in the hole behind Ibra and Miki and Martial on either wing. We shall see still early days but whats indisputable is that this is the end of Mata.
