Didn't decoy Gibson have a shoulder late last week. A short week it was as well.

I am convinced almost any QB is better in uptempo. I hate the slow play run run short pass predictable offense letting defenses sub every GD play. Its self defeating letting them get fresh pass rushers in on 3rd and long every time for an entire season

Why am I always more impressed with the opposition OCs play calling to start games.

Unless Turner was smart enough to throw quick passes like Sandogs OC did. He made our DL look pedestrian from the first snap. Sure some of that was their WRs catching everything; we barely got our ace WR a target in the first half. I'd bet Gibsons shoulder is a little tender. I look for lots of run left.

I had low expectations on Dyami in week 1. I am not sure they were met. He was getting snaps at least but the DBs seemed all over him. I know I know the future looks good for all our draft picks because they are great athletes. Speaking of good athletes I wonder if Ron would have preferred Steven Montez be brought back.

4th and 7 on the 42. If you are going to go for a false start, at least keep the damn offense out there and maybe get a mismatch or the D confused and then run a play. Head bobbing hard count flinch city. Hell, just run a play and don't live in fear of a 4th and 7 at home. It just shows no faith in your offense, OC, QB, etc. Thinking back to last year when RR seemed to tap out early when games were not truly over... I would like to see him do anything he can to win games and am surprised more didn't call him out on it. This armchair GM considers it bad if a defensive player taken in round 1 isn't ready for full time. Yes the sky fell.

thanks for sharing. I HATE DESPITE cannot ****ing stand how the stadium refuses to show replays. Same thing at Caps games but there are far less specific plays to replay in hock. NFL has time after every play to show it! I think they fear a riot in the stands or someone will be horrified at what they see and Dan Snyder Comms LLC will be sued. Yet millions at home on TV see every replay instantly. WTFWFT? The lack of replays alone is enough to keep me away from Fedex. I text friends at games with replay info - that's not a fumble / its a hip etc.

I wish we could find out how many plays our DL 2 or 1 gapped. I may be most bummed about our DL reading reacting and getting run over not being used to their strengths. Was that to protect Jamin?? And the icing on the cake was seeing the DBs in zone with the game on the line. Gives me nightmare flashbacks of our largely pathetic D of the past 3 decades ft Ron Lynn, Greg BLAH etc. Its unsettling to seeing Chase and Montez on the sidelines so much their entire careers. We used an awful lot of draft capital on those 2, to not be near full time players. I kinda miss the days of less subs of the D. At some point subbing out your best players fails yet no one ever seems to question the modern day sub out everyone you can approach. Fresh > Talent my ass. Dont we hear DL need time and reps to set up moves on the OL?

I hate conservative predictable traditional play calling. When it doesn't work. RR not going for it was SO 1980. We needed a score and then a stop and a net 20 or 30 punt just isn't going to help all that much and puts pressure on our D. I wanted to see him go for it - be aggressive but old habits are hard to break for long time NLFers. An old school OC wouldn't have aggressively passed on 3rd and long like san dogs did. They would have called predictable draws to milk the clock and prefer to punt vs "risk it". I am sure I am not the only one that saw Gibson nursing his left shoulder/arm. He seemed forced back in on 3rd and inches. Seeing all that was exactly why I wanted us to nab Lat Murray but I get it, we can get a back off the street if needed. But they wont be as good. Yeah Patterson is a potential star but I don't think he is quite ready for fulltime and short yardage work.
