  1. Brenden Rice is Thaddeus Moss-ing so hard rn Can’t wait to bring him in as priority UFA and unceremoniously cut him before the season
  2. What are we feeling for pick 100? Feels like LB and S range to me, especially with kickoff changes. Not drafting special teamers only of course, these guys should compete to backup or start, but could see increase value given expected massive uptick of returns.
  3. Cooper Beebe to Dallas is soul crushing. Damn it. They wanted a big fat beast to replace the smaller Tyler B that we picked up... and they got him.
  4. 7th most athletic G prospect of all time; wonder how he'd score at tackle instead. 34" arms is great. Reminds me of the Cosmi pick, hopefully Coleman can make it work at LT or RT though.
  5. independent of who is in our roster, was it good value for the player? And do we like the player?
  6. Agree. If there’s one thing he won’t be, it’s asleep at the wheel.
  7. not sure I’ve seen a deal with this much in per game bonuses. Wasn’t fully guaranteed as was reported I guess. anyways I hope this is the last tweet to share regarding CY news. What’s on people’s wishlist of guys already FAs or possible cap casualties in later waves after the draft?
  8. Acolyte looks hype, excited for the premier
  9. This man couldn’t ball out, let alone play with effort, in the Super Bowl on a stacked team opposite Nick Bosa. Doubt he does it for a whole season for a mid saints team. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the largest contract he signs in the rest of his career 🤷🏻‍♂️ We did well to get a 3rd round comp pick for him. it’s a sad state how it ended here and I wish him the best, I just don’t see the juice or effort that he used to have. Excited to see how DQ and JW diversify the pass rush this year, instead if relying on 4 talented individuals on the DL but using his LBs and S’s as well
  10. Given the as of yet uninterest in resigning Samuels, I feel this team is definitely hunting for a true X with size. Kliffs offense historically is all about finding an taking advantage of matchups. Samuel, McLaurin, Dotson all present a similar profile for defenses, having a big bodied WR would be a missing piece for sure
  11. Doubt we sign many long-term deals with this many spots to fill (starting and depth). 1&2 year deals will be the norm. As such that means we’ll need to be more frugal on a per deal basis than we think just to field a full roster that isn’t half UDFA. Can’t spread cap hits into future for C and D level talent
  12. We had like 15 pages in here over the last 24 hours lol did i miss something important by skipping ahead or was it the usual back and forth 😅
  13. Running Back?? This is Anthony Armstrong erasure. Have we really strayed so far from god Whenever the boys are sitting naming random NFL WRs of yesteryear, AA is a finishing move. His 2010 season at age 27 with 40 catches and 850 yards after never logging a single stat before is all-time flash in the pan status. All that said, he seems to echo many’s sentiments on this board and elsewhere. Love that Quinn has a deep talented staff, with pieces ready to be called up if we find success and face attrition.
  14. I’ve got about 150+ hours into BG3, playing on PS5 with 1-3 other people. Haven’t done it solo. we have the most fun playing on balanced, and doing thematic builds. Like MCU, DBZ, Star Wars, etc. like right now we’re doing a Freiza/Vegeta run. Eldritch blast warlock/sorcerer tiefling and way of the open hand monk human with one level barbarian for rage and use fire shield from robe to get that super saiyan glow. gives us a theme to stick to and build from the endless possibilities and min/max FOMO tend to fade away and you focus on making choices relevant to your character in both dialogue and combat. that said, I always say Wizards is hella fun because you can learn any spell in the game and change them around at will. Any battle is different. And to @dfitzo53 question about Controller, it controls great. The radial wheels that are customizable make it quite easy in combat etc. the worst difference vs PC is probably inventory management
  15. The sum of positive front office and coaching moves we’ve made since Dan Quinn was hired fits squarely into the ”what’s not illegal but feels illegal” category wasn’t hype for the Quinn hire like most but so far Peters and Quinn are demonstrating excellent process in their decisions and building something I can get behind
  16. Let’s not underestimate that Harris is likely providing Quinn with a pretty open pocketbook to get the absolute best coaching talent himself. Whereas the former guy was moreso pinching pennies outside the HC. Like any business, every department and line of business gets a budget and has to stick to it. This is seeming to be a sizeable budget for football ops ✅
  17. Just so I’m clear, it’s being suggested that hiring the sons of Gary Kubiak and Bob Slowik weren’t already (or wouldn’t be) nepotism hires? But Kliff Kingsbury and/or Joe Whitt in DC are?
  18. Agree with the sentiment @FootballZombie Knowing there’s a group of competent decision makers and football people and ownership making the choice between the 2-3 top QBs, I’m going to back whoever they pick and believe in. i’m a lot less stressed about who I’d prefer and will just let what happens happen this go around
  19. Sure Kliff is NFL Ryan Gosling but is he actually a good coach? I’m not convinced. I remember reading scathing breakdowns (albeit on twitter) of the plays he’d draw up and how awful they were schematically and situationally. He’s been getting by on brand awareness for a while now. Meanwhile, Lincoln Riley is who everyone thought Kliff Kingsbury was. (Not that I’m suggesting hiring him either) I suppose in a toss up between Chip and Kliff, I choose Kliff? God either way I’m talking myself into it 😭
