  1. It does not matter if the QB throws a good ball or a bad ball. On pass interference a defender cannot stop a receiver from attempting to catch a pass when the ball is in the air. The defender has to play the ball. In the case of the “blown” PI call, the defender put his arm around the receivers neck slowing the receivers ability to come back for a underthrown ball. The defender made “no attempt” to play the ball. Now either that is clear pass interference or at least def holding as you cannot hold a receiver when the ball is in the air which it clearly was. To pick up a flag on a clear penalty out in the open where the ref that threw the flag was facing the play just puts a thought in your head that the game is fixed. Now if the ref did not see the play then fine, he would not throw the flag but throwing the flag proves he saw the play. Picking it up tells me he does not know what he is doing and he should not be a ref. We should be angry as that was a 4 point loss. We kicked a FG instead of getting the ball on the 1 yard line.
  2. Yes we were lucky but the Nats were even luckier. Please refer to the numerous “no calls” they received.
  3. A PI flag should not be picked up especially when the ref that threw it was 5 yards in front of the play and the people that overruled it were behind the play and if it was not PI then it should have least been DEF Holding.
  4. I saw TH smacked at least 4 times after he threw the ball and one time right in front of the ref and no call. I saw JA tackled and pulled down forward on his way to the QB. A nat O lineman grabbed our DE from behind on his shoulder pad as he was chasing the QB in the backfield on a long run play that could have been a loss but turned out a big run. I am not a physics expert but can someone tell me how a ball goes 7 yards forward if it was not thrown and the pass rusher did not touch it. Magic most likely. How about the nat WR push off that was so flagrant our CB went backwards 4 yards on the long pass play they had in the first half. What was so ironic was the nat head coach screaming at the ref for a PI call when the ball and his receiver were 4 yds out of bounds, wtf. Yes, when you play the nats in NJ you have to go against the nats and the refs.
  5. Jason Campbell could not win us a game if he only had 2 minutes to go if his life depended on it for Christs sake.
  6. Say what you want about THs ability but the 4th down conversion late in the game was Montana like.
  7. He was under extreme pressure in the 2nd half. Saw a few plays where he go roughed and of course, no calls against the Garbage men. One play the D lineman hit him in the head.
  8. Please correct me if I am wrong but we only spent cash and no draft capital for CW? Are we off the hook for the #2 for Wentz?
  9. Me too but the blitzer should have waited for TH to get in the EZ before he hit him. Would have been a game winning safety. Luck for us.
  10. Agree 100%. CY has to came back and play lights out imo. He has to be better than Watt from Pitt or has has to go. I was against the pick when we made it and his play along with this season of no production has done nothing to change my mind. Being the 2 pick in the draft he will want ultra big bucks and I do not see any reason to keep him based on his past performance. I thought he would end up like Clooney, going from team to team.
  11. Why do you think we will spend 28ml on Wentzs’ replacement? If TH plays great and gets us in the playoffs, just pay his salary next year along with the rookie QB you have now. Maybe we learned a valuable lesson with the Wentz signing. Look at Denver. Tons of money and draft capital for Wilson? Dought if we will get a top QB prospect in the draft so what do you do? Am I wrong in thinking we could have had Mariota for peanuts in comparison to the Wentz deal?
  12. Ya one week should be plenty of practice to go up against a NFL defense.
  13. They had a running game today so the O line was not too bad after all. Looked like old time football. Team still had too many penalties and mistakes. Yes, I struggle with many things these days and the quote feature is the least of my problems, lol.
  14. Guy hasn’t played in a real game in a year, wtf. Guy does not get reps with first team.
  15. Hi all. Nice win last nite but what is up with the comments by Tony Gonzales stating our team is “ the JV of the NFL.” He was a good player but as far as I know he never won any substantial games. Ya Tony, flash you rings while you shoot your mouth off. And Al over the hill Michaels complaining about the 2 teams not scoring any TDS. Calling it a “barn burner” when one of the teams kicked a field goal. Go back and look at some of the greatest defensive teams in NFL history and you would see many games like last nite. Some guys never have enough and they just hang on and hang on like their next paycheck will cure world hunger. Getting sick of people like him and Terry B and a few others. Pack it in and give some younger people a chance for Christs sake.
  16. Not saying you are wrong but correct me if I am wrong but I think Orakpo never had a ask against a NFC east opponent, and PS had a rep of not getting any sacks period.
  17. What are you saying, if we loose 2 to the Giants Snyder will quit?
  18. Cannot judge Wentz with the poor play of the O line yet. He takes his life in his hands on every snap. I did think he would be better than he has shown but it is still early. Desired by every NFL team is a good LOW PAID QB.
