  1. "Sainristil is a former receiver who plays with surprising field awareness and attention to detail as a zone defender. Explosive athletic traits with above-average football demeanor. Quick to digest and respond to play design from zone" from NFL.com Not bad for a 2 years experience at CB, he's a work in progress, he is very smart and has a high ceiling. His size is a concern as he won't be able to play outside corner, but he's going to shine at nickel corner.
  2. Grade A Washington Commanders Day 2 draft picks Illinois DT Jer'Zhan Newton (No. 36 overall) Michigan DB Mike Sainristil (No. 50) Kansas State TE Ben Sinnott (No. 53) TCU OT Brandon Coleman (No. 67) Rice WR Luke McCaffrey (No. 100) Day 1 grade: A Analysis: The Commanders landed a steal in the early second round with Newton, who will be a factor in the run game while providing interior pressure. They moved down in Round 2 with division-rival Philadelphia, first picking a feisty and smart but undersized cornerback in Sainristil before making one of the best value picks in the draft in Sinnott, who will be a third-down weapon and top-notch move blocker. Coleman's a long, powerful player announced as a tackle for the Commanders but could slide into guard, and McCaffrey joins his brother, Christian, in the NFL, transitioning effectively from quarterback to wide receiver (his father’s position) while at Rice.
  3. "We are not interested in trading him," Peters said.

  5. Maybe we're going to draft the guy who beat the Bama players ? Adonai Mitchell "“If he can play every game like he played the Alabama game, he’ll be one the best receivers in the league. They have first-round corners and he gave them problems.” - AFC scouting director"
  6. The bust factor, that's something I'm concerned about. I hope Peters will make the right choice, I don't want Trey Lance 2.0. In the mean time good luck to him because this is a huge reponsability and dilemna. QB analysts are better than ever, but the draft is a different beast
  7. ESPN’s Mike Greenberg asserts that the reigning Heisman Trophy winner from LSU may not be on the Commanders’ radar when everything is said and done.
  8. I wish he would be eating his slice of humble pie talking about his future team rather than himself and his personal goals. By the way good luck to him because NFL isn't college and they are many guys that will come to give him a warm and hard welcome.
  9. 2024 NFL draft: Mel Kiper's favorite prospects at every position I like the impressive Washington OL, Stover and Means.
  10. I was not a Brady fan, but I recognize his superior relentless will to win, he would stop at nothing to get even the tiniest edge over his opponents.
  11. If we select him, that's going to be a huge boost for their social network account. I'm also wondering if Adam Peters had a conversation with Jim Harbaugh ? As you mentioned I really like the ability of a QB to be able to read defenses properly and to call his plays. I've always favored brain and mindset over physical traits.
  12. https://nfltraderumors.co/nfc-rumors-jayden-daniels-j-j-mccarthy-commanders-cowboys-giants/ JLC thinks analytics will make them select JJ McCarthy
