    Penix has thrown maybe 4 amazing deep balls into tight coverage where he dropped it in the bucket in this game… I haven’t watched him before, but good lord those were pretty. He’s actually played an amazing first half, moving in the pocket, throwing on the run, eyes downfield.

    There’s a lot of smoke about Williams personality, the family, it can’t be ignored and needs to be vetted like crazy. But the football player is ****ing fun to watch for sure! Would love to have a player that means you are always in a game ala Mahomes

    This is actually a really good article and makes a ton of sense. I still think rolling with Howell next year makes sense, but they have to do their diligence on the top 3 QBs based on where we are picking and the likelihood that we will be picking in this range again without having to blow through draft capitol in a trade up.

    My lord I loved Fitz, might be my favorite non Skin of all time. I remember working in Pittsburgh when he was drafted and knew he wouldn't make it to us and obviously the cosmos had other plans with that draft, but man I just loved watching him play.

    Sam is our best chance at being competitive with a quick turnaround, give him some line help and some kind of a ****ing defense. I'm (at this point) only thinking about about drafting Maye if we get to top 3 pick and he has the "mahomes-esk" ability to lift an entire team. I haven't watched him a lot, so I have no solid opinion... I think Caleb williams has proven to be immature and way ahead of himself, no way I'm taking that risk with Howell in the building.

    Was that run before the TD not a low block that we got a 15 yd penalty for last week?

    Exactly, 6 first rounders DL, LBer, CB… and we have a **** defense. Bad investments, bad scheme, whatever - we need to reallocate those resources. Can’t afford to pay young and sweat and make the investments necessary to build this team. Get what you can in a trade, time to move on
