  1. UFC 134 Judo Chop: Anderson Silva Puts on a Show Against Forrest Griffin
  2. is there any way to watch replays/extended highlights or even just a good highlight of games? i've missed both of them while moving...
  3. http://www.portaldovt.com.br/br/galeria-de-fotos/treino-do-team-nogueira# Some pretty cool pics of JDS, Anderson, Big Foot, and others training with the Nogs. JDS and Anderson against the cage is ridiculous training for both of them.
  4. Following UFC 133 Loss, Matt Hamill Retires
  5. The stream should pop up after the Facebook fights and most likely during the Spike TV fights and I'm positive a few of us will post links in here around 8 or 9.
  6. I really really hope Henderson signs with UFC again, he could really put a dent in the current LHW standings. I think he really deserves a title shot after his last couple of fights (and after one or two matches with the UFC top LHW's). I love seeing him fight, the guy is a tank and he's seen just about everything and everyone on the mat. Actually, right now the way he's fighting, I think he can beat Rampage and Machida, and maybe Shogun and Rashad as well. There is no one outside of JJ who has a good chance of beating Hendo. And even Bones, since we haven't seen him defend his title yet, if he regresses and goes into title defense mode instead of "***** this is MY title and I'm going to beat you before you beat me" mode, then Hendo has a good chance against him as well.
  7. Hendo gets an uppercut in, Fedor goes limp, Herb Dean jumps on it (and Hendo throws one shot that misses and two more clean (undefended) shots to Fedor's head in the meantime), Fedor wakes up after Dean has made contact already, but by then it's too late. My point is that no one knew when Fedor went out after the initial uppercut that he would wake back up that fast, so the stoppage was justified. It was a good 2-3 seconds of being limp. ---------- Post added July-31st-2011 at 11:25 AM ---------- He defends himself after being out for a couple of seconds, so that's the end of the fight in my eyes.
  8. SU, I prefer your new sig to your older ones. Just wanted to make that public. HA I guess I was a little late to the sig appreciation party.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V_iP0YG3Z4 Not really the "greatest" like the title says, but still really cool. Dave "Pee Wee" Herman
  10. Rampage Jackson: I guarantee Jon Jones won't fight me like a man, Team Greg Jackson is ruining MMA There's more after the link. He's pretty crazy calling out Greg Jackson, but he seems like he's having fun, hopefully he comes out as prepared as Jon Jones will be and backs up all this talk.
  11. :ols: I love this show and the Captain
  12. http://video.aol.com/aolvideo/aol-sports/chael-sonnen-backstage/1041225706001 The video from the Sonnen/Helwani interview, it's 20 min long, pretty funny seeing him say all those things, he's a character. He says a LOT of stuff about Brazilian fighters... Also Japan haha
  13. Yeaa it was obviously the weight cut that ****ed with Nate, hours before weigh-ins. Bad for Story, good news for Pat Barry and Kongo.
  14. Werdum blames Overeem for Strikeforce farce
  15. Reem definitely seemed to slow down and was effected by Werdum's striking, I've heard a lot about how he was never in his counter striking comfort zone because every time an engagement would happen, Werdum would shoot in and fall and the whole thing would restart. Reem's more of a counter guy from what I know and it makes sense seeing how the fight went and how things got awkward and boring in the striking department with no real back and forth or clinch work. Good strategy by both guys but in turn neither guy could do what they wanted and the fight ended up being off balance. The Reem/Big Foot fight will be a lot better and entertaining imo (really, any fight will be more entertaining than the Werdum one) because both guys will want to do different striking things in their strategy as opposed to just standing for Reem and just groundwork for Werdum. Plus Silva can take a punch better than Reem. The Babyface/Sergei fight will be pretty good too, as opposed to Barnett just taking advantage of Brett Rogers' complete lack of wrestling defense, cardio, and overall grappling. Sergei is wayyyy more adapt at wrestling submissions and grappling. I hope Barnett shows what he can really do in the cage as a complete fighter that I believe he is and that should make it entertaining (even though I'm sure most of the fight will take place on the ground again or in a clinch against the cage) Also, completely agree about the gate and attendance numbers, slapping on the UFC banner and substituting the Older Overeem fight for maybe Cheick Kongo vs Pat Berry and it would have been a much much better event in all aspects. But that's neither here or there haha it's going to happen eventually anyways.
  16. I got really annoyed at Werdum taking his time to stand up after falling to the ground or Overeem throwing him down. I feel like there were around 2-3 minutes of the 15 minute fight that were just dead time and Werdum on his back smiling and begging Overeem to engage in the guard, and then taking his time to stand up once the ref stood them up.
  17. That whole event was the definition of underwhelming (outside of the LW fight)
  18. Definitely, it's going to be a great one regardless
  19. Fun fight, Noons' face is ****ed up. Gilbert will still win the title fight, he's better than both these guys by a lot.
  20. There's a "little brother" feel to this whole event, things seem toned down and a little less organized than a normal UFC ppv
