Damn that sucks about Brock. It's kind of bothering me how the next three PPV's lost main events (Edgar/Maynard, Brock, and Jon Jones), but whatever, injuries happen. JDS will either get knocked out or he will win by decision imo. Is this fight for the number 1 contender still? I was under the impression the Brock/JDS fight was going to be for Cain. The next "true" main event is Silva/Okami at 134, unless the Aldo/Chad Mendes fight happens on 133.

I'm not gonna be as excited for the next GSP fight unless it's Nate Diaz (and even then, probably not all that excited). The whole card was incredible up until the main, and then it halted to a stop. All that talk by Shields about it being an "all out war" was for nothing like usual. I honestly expected a much better gameplan by Shields considering his teammates and the opportunity/timing of the whole thing. Also, any gif's of the spinning backfist knockout? Up until the Machida kick, that was definitely KOTN.

You may be the only person who thinks Jake will sub GSP haha. Both guys train with bigger guys, I think Jake had some sessions with Phil Davis, but Phil Davis' ground game is NOTHING like GSP's ground game, and I'm pretty sure GSP is 500 times faster than Phil Davis and also has bigger balls.

That's a lot of videos! I'm glad I'm keeping up with Primetime and the Spike previews anyways but I'm excited for the blogs and the interview videos. Watching the preview I realized how much I hate Jake Shields' fighting style and how much I want GSP to beat the **** out of him. GSP training with Florian, Marquardt, and Gracie JJ is going to be too much for Jake. Plus I completely forgot how GSP did not even try to attack with a ground game in his last fight, it was all boxing. Dana's blogs are great, paying for that girl's parking ticket with a 100 from his wad of 100's

I love how he has a bottle of Fiji in his hands. Those girls were probably won over by how nice he was to them. GSP is badass.

I love the Sean Taylor reference. And after reading this, I see the fight going the same way. Jake is prepping for GSP, but GSP is prepping for Jake, and for Jake's prep. Also, technically Okami is the last person Anderson Silva lost against, and I'm pretty sure Jake Shields has a longer win streak than Anderson.

So who would Diaz face next hypothetically? I can't think of anyone in Strikeforce off the top of my head, so maybe GSP regardless of if he wins or loses? What are the odds, since they are bros, that Diaz will fight Shields?

Oh yes for sure, that fight was total domination by him. My friend (who got me into mma) has always talked about Nick for years and how Nick is his favorite mma fighter, and tonight I saw why. His strategy completely caught Daley off guard and he took some massive punches and went down, but it was incredible seeing him stick with it and keep an aggressive stance, especially when Daley was backing up. That is some guts.... haha and I'm sure no one expected it.
