So Guerra wasn’t good enough to pitch in ANY of the Rockies games, but in a tie game in the 8th against the Dodgers he’s in?!?

How is that not catchers interference for blocking the plate?!?  If Parra runs over the catcher he is out and gets suspended. If he slides, he’s out. If he runs, he’s out. He had to slow down and try to find a place to hit the plate.

Davey Martinez is ****ing retarded. 42 year old who pitched in both games of a doubleheader yesterday is brought in for a save the next day? The closer pitched in both games too. Managed with ZERO foresight yesterday and now it’s biting us in the ass. 

Thankfully Murph can only torment the Nats AT MOST 8 times per season,  Not the 18 or 19 times he toasted the Mets for us.

We are going to the game Wednesday night and I read somewhere you can take your own food into Nats Park. Is that true? Any experiences? What have you got in?

Yes, you can take any food you want to take inside as long as it is in clear-ish bags, and unopened water bottles (or you can take an empty water container and refill them at bottle filling stations). When I go with my daughter, I take in 2 one liter bottles of water, a bag of peanuts and pistachios, some food (generally fried chicken), and some snacks for my daughter. As long as you put it all in an approved bag, you should have. I problem getting through security.

Davey needs to be fired. Let a 42 year old go out for 2nd inning without having an arm warm, let him walk the lead off guy without a mound visit, let him pitch to Freeman, then pull in a left hander to play 2B, AND NEVER REPLACED THE ****ING PITCHER. 

This after pulling a starter at 66 pitchers through 6 in a game you were WINNING.

You can’t throw away these opportunities to make up games by managing a win into a loss. Fedde faces 16 batters through 6 innings. The bullpen faced 16 in 1-1/3 inning. If a starter faces 16 batters through 6, you leave him in until he at least gets in trouble. Using Davey’s logic, Suero should have been hooked after throwing 4 pitches. Why doe the BP get a longer leash than a starter who is well rested? It’s moronic. Fedde said he was good to go and wanted to stay in the game. He was cruising. It was the latest in a LONG list of stupid decisions.  Davey is not worthy of being a big league manager.
