I guess not. But I take literally nothing any police department says with any truth. Especially this one. Its a fact that it wasn't made available to the public until 2017 per the quote you have here. 2 years after the dash cam video.
You can choose to believe the police if you want. I do not.
First things first, it is hard to accept that it's been that long since this incident. Seems like it was last year. MAN is time flying, and I'm getting old...
I am a natural skeptic. My wife calls me a defense attorney's dream because I demand that the prosecution prove the person on trial committed a crime. Having said that, the burden on those that choose to serve and protect is lower than the average Joe (meaning, they get less leeway than the average Joe). I hate that unions work very hard to have these guys "resign" and agree to never work in law enforcement again. Much like I feel about others, if you don't wanna do the time, don't commit the crime.
I just want to keep facts fact, and not conjecture.

He said the reason he pulled her out of the car was because she was doing something that caused him to fear for his life. We could never verify what she was actually doing until.....we had a video of her doing it. Until now we just had to take his word that he feared for his life. Now we can see exactly what she was doing and have confirmation from him that he knew what she was doing.
Thats what I think, atleast. The fact that the cops withheld evidence, regardless of how substantial it is/would have been should mean something too.
That's a fact? In the article, it indicates the department states the video was released to an Austin TV station in an open records request and was turned over to the defense in a hard drive.
QuoteThe department disputed the premise that the video was not provided, saying it was included as part of a large hard drive of evidence from the investigation. It also said Sandra Bland’s cellphone video had previously been publicly released in 2017, when it was given to an Austin television station under open records law.
The cop will never work in law enforcement again. The family settled with the department.

As to the notion that one dragon won't be enough to sack KL, I have to disagree. If they can muster someone with half a military brain, it's a fire breathing fighter jet vs a stationary target with giant crossbows (that's apparently can't hit if shot head on). We've already seen that the dragon can climb above the clouds. I'm not sure if the giant crossbows can even shoot at close to 90 degree angle, but the trajectory of the arrows shown in EP4 shows that it doesn't travel very far. You have two options. One is to dive bomb the outer defenses using a 90 degree angle. Even less riskier option is to simply have Drogon carry up a few stones, steel marbles, logs, whatever. At the height we're talking about (let's say a just below the clouds for clearer view, but frankly, establish a siege perimeter with giant bonfires and you can probably guestimate when you are above king's landing while above the clouds), a penny wouldn't do enough damage, but let's say Drogon carries one log per every few hours and drops it on top of KL's outer defenses. Eventually it will hit, and eventually, hits will cause calamity.
As for the notion that Dany is now crazy because she wants to sack the city. It's a simply question for Varys and co. What possible option is there to avoid civilian casualty in this scenario?
Based on their battle plans to date, they can't. 20,000 dothraki calvary riding to certain death against 100,000 undead. Trapping the unsullied outside the fire ring and castle walls. Splitting your army and getting waylayed at sea, again.
Night raids with dragon, lighting the cross bow platforms up and watching them burn. There is no way to illuminate the skies at night. Just fly in from above and lay down fire along one wall and disappear. After a week, the people of KL would be ready to throw the Queen out of the castle. But that would be too easy, so we know that ain't it.

Euron, the worst character in this show, has now tanked three of Dany’s main forces in surprise attacks on the sea.
A bad character who is just a plot device to make sure that Dany isn’t OP by the time she reaches KL. I guess it worked and I guess they will use this to show Dany as an isolated, raging mad queen.
In the aftershow thing, one of the writers says “Dany wasn’t expecting a surprise attack from Euron and had forgot that he’s a threat”. Really??? Lol
How are dragons, flying in a perfectly clear sky over the ocean, surprised by a fleet of ships? I get the Dany's fleet being surprised because the land blocks their view, but there is no obstructed view from 500' up ON THE BACK OF ****ING DRAGONS. Just stupid...

Hellickson was CRUISING in the game. Yeah, he could have shot the bed there, but to assume he crumbles is stupid. He EARNED the right to face Harper. But Davey takes him out because.
-
I can’t believe it was a called mound visit that got Davey all hot and bothered finally. A little emotion was nice to see, too bad it was wasted on THAT. And still moving 2/3 of his OF around to get MAT in CF.
-
So MASN appealed the original ruling, and after all the wrangling the arbitration ruled with almost identical numbers. Now MASN is claiming they may have used the wrong numbers? Eat a bag of dicks, you can’t appeal based on stupidity...

How many weekday early afternoon games have there been this year? 1/3 of their home games to date have been 1:05 or 4:05 starts. Of course those games won't draw (outside Opening Day).

So, why move Eaton from RF to LF and Robles from CF to RF to accommodate MAT in CF? Why not just move Robles to LF or even let MAT play LF? Moving 2 guys to positions they don’t play often?
More stupid...

Spring of fundamentals, and you don’t bunt there? We cannot fire Davey fast enough...
And 3 straight strikeouts after 2 on with nobody out. MAT has to bunt. Gomes has to bounce a ball to 2B and a run scores. Simple. Fundamental. But no, Davey goes with his ****ing gut and has MAT swing away, and then take a pitch down the ****ing middle of the plate. He has no feel for a game....
8th inning, time for the Padres to score 2 or more. And Barraclaugh pitching too. Time to add it the ridiculous way the team has been outscored in the 8th...

So I have been noted as having an obsession with collecting bobble heads and sports memorabilia and a minor league stadium is always good for that as well as having a relaxed vibe. You just sit in the stands and watch baseball and sometimes a ball comes flying in the bleachers and you have to run like hell so it doesn't bop you on the head.
This is the P-Nats last season at Woodbridge before they move to Fredericksburg.
I normally hate Deadspin but this is a really, really good article on the Pfitz, which is one of the few ballparks left in the country that is so...basic in amenities that MiLB basically mandated the P Nats to move somewhere else. It wasn't flashy, and it wasn't glitzy, it was run down. But it was the Pfitz.
I played my senior year high school tournament at the Pfitz. Well, round 1 and 2, and the championship game would have been there if the grounds crew wasn’t at lunch and put the tarp down when it started to rain. Cost me a championship as a senior. Would have played against the other teams #3 starter with our #1 going. Instead, they get to rest and use #1 in the postponed championship game (think he was drafted in the 27th round or something like that by the Padres. Lost 2-1 on a frigid, windy game. My season ended when a pinch runner got picked off 1st with 2 outs and the tying run on 3rd. 3-1 count. You could hear the 1B coach tell him, get a small lead, don’t risk getting picked off seconds before he froze on the puck off and was out by 2 feet. If he dives back, the tying run scores, because runner broke once to 1st.
23 years ago, and I can remember every detail. Last sporting event of my high school career. Damn....
Oh well, Nats are over .500!!!!

And they call 3 changeups in a row to Harper why? You can’t throw him 3 of ANY pitch and not expect to get hit.
Wilmer Difo is a WAY below average fielder. Has to be his 4th E on the season, and he’s only played like 5 games.

How is this not breach of contract?
Really? Not agreeing to abide by the arbiter they agreed to go to when the contract was established was a breach of contract. This should be viewed as hostile, and the Nats should seek to void the contract and establish their own regional network. Angelos has to owe the Nats in excess of $300M now...

As a RP, he has been solid. 3.59 ERA with 28 saves in 64 appearances. As a starter, hot garbage. As a reliever, above average.

It’s Alexander Ovechkin, it’s not even remotely a debate. Anyone who thinks it’s Darrel Green is delusional. The real question is will they make a statue of the Great 8.
I voted Ovie, but saying Green wasn't a top 5 Redskins is ludicrous.
Ovechkin is a generational talent, likely the best goal scorer in the history of the NHL. He is putting up 50 goal seasons at rates rarely seen before (Bossy & Gretzky, that's it) in an era when it is harder to score than ever before. It is crazy, absolutely insane, that hockey people are actually talking about him breaking Wayne Gretzky's all time goals record IN THIS ERA. The numbers that Gretzky put up in the stand-up era should make his record untouchable...

Soto hits 1B and the ball deflects directly to Hoskins. Zimmerman hits the ball up the middle and Cishek deflects the ball with his glove....right to Kingury.
