You have to read the original statute, and add the amended language:

If a voter is physically unable to enter the polling place without personal assistance or likelihood of injuring the voters health, on the voters request, an election officer shall deliver a ballot to the voter at the polling place entrance or curb.

(b)

The regular voting procedures may be modified by the election officer to the extent necessary to conduct voting under this section.

(c)

After the voter is accepted for voting, the voter shall mark the ballot and give it to the election officer who shall deposit it in the ballot box.

(d)

On the voters request, a person accompanying the voter shall be permitted to select the voters ballot and deposit the ballot in the ballot box.

(e)

A person who assists at least three voters voting under this section at the same time by providing the voters with transportation to the polling place must complete and sign a form that:

  (1)  requires the person to affirm that the voters are physically unable to enter the polling place without personal assistance or likelihood of injuring their health; and

  (2)  contains the following information:

     (A)  the person's name and address; and

     (B)  whether the person is providing assistance to the voters solely under this section or under both this section and Subchapter B.

(f)

Subsection (e) does not apply to a person if the person is a family member of all voters that the person provides with transportation to the polling place. For purposes of this subsection, "family member" has the meaning assigned by Section 33.057(a).

(g)

The secretary of state shall prescribe the form described by Subsection (e).

First things first, it is hard to accept that it's been that long since this incident. Seems like it was last year. MAN is time flying, and I'm getting old...

I am a natural skeptic.  My wife calls me a defense attorney's dream because I demand that the prosecution prove the person on trial committed a crime. Having said that, the burden on those that choose to serve and protect is lower than the average Joe (meaning, they get less leeway than the average Joe). I hate that unions work very hard to have these guys "resign" and agree to never work in law enforcement again. Much like I feel about others, if you don't wanna do the time, don't commit the crime.

I just want to keep facts fact, and not conjecture.

Thats what I think, atleast. The fact that the cops withheld evidence, regardless of how substantial it is/would have been should mean something too. 

That's a fact? In the article, it indicates the department states the video was released to an Austin TV station in an open records request and was turned over to the defense in a hard drive.

Based on their battle plans to date, they can't. 20,000 dothraki calvary riding to certain death against 100,000 undead. Trapping the unsullied outside the fire ring and castle walls. Splitting your army and getting waylayed at sea, again. 

Night raids with dragon, lighting the cross bow platforms up and watching them burn. There is no way to illuminate the skies at night. Just fly in from above and lay down fire along one wall and disappear. After a week, the people of KL would be ready to throw the Queen out of the castle. But that would be too easy, so we know that ain't it.

How many weekday early afternoon games have there been this year? 1/3 of their home games to date have been 1:05 or 4:05 starts. Of course those games won't draw (outside Opening Day).

So, why move Eaton from RF to LF and Robles from CF to RF to accommodate MAT in CF? Why not just move Robles to LF or even let MAT play LF? Moving 2 guys to positions they don’t play often?

So I have been noted as having an obsession with collecting bobble heads and sports memorabilia and a minor league stadium is always good for that as well as having a relaxed vibe. You just sit in the stands and watch baseball and sometimes a ball comes flying in the bleachers and you have to run like hell so it doesn't bop you on the head. 

 

This is the P-Nats last season at Woodbridge before they move to Fredericksburg. 

 

I normally hate Deadspin but this is a really, really good article on the Pfitz, which is one of the few ballparks left in the country that is so...basic in amenities that MiLB basically mandated the P Nats to move somewhere else. It wasn't flashy, and it wasn't glitzy, it was run down. But it was the Pfitz. 

I played my senior year high school tournament at the Pfitz.  Well, round 1 and 2, and the championship game would have been there if the grounds crew wasn’t at lunch and put the tarp down when it started to rain. Cost me a championship as a senior. Would have played against the other teams #3 starter with our #1 going. Instead, they get to rest and use #1 in the postponed championship game (think he was drafted in the 27th round or something like that by the Padres.  Lost 2-1 on a frigid, windy game. My season ended when a pinch runner got picked off 1st with 2 outs and the tying run on 3rd. 3-1 count. You could hear the 1B coach tell him, get a small lead, don’t risk getting picked off seconds before he froze on the puck off and was out by 2 feet. If he dives back, the tying run scores, because runner broke once to 1st. 

23 years ago, and I can remember every detail. Last sporting event of my high school career. Damn....

Oh well, Nats are over .500!!!!

Ovechkin is a generational talent, likely the best goal scorer in the history of the NHL. He is putting up 50 goal seasons at rates rarely seen before (Bossy & Gretzky, that's it) in an era when it is harder to score than ever before.  It is crazy, absolutely insane, that hockey people are actually talking about him breaking Wayne Gretzky's all time goals record IN THIS ERA. The numbers that Gretzky put up in the stand-up era should make his record untouchable...
