good article, thanks for posting. It would be nice if we could get something for Rashard Lewis' friendly contract buy out, but the only team I could possible see doing that is Philly with Iggy (if they thought they could be players in FA this year and improve their team)

I thought it was well written. Couldn't really disagree with anything in it. There definitely is hope with this team, just need to start making the right moves.

What I meant by that was the type of material that they use.

If you have noticed, every time the NFL has changed sponsors, our shade has changed a little. From Wilson, to Puma (lol) , to Reebok. Our shade has changed a little.

It definitely sounds like the material is changing? Will that effect our shade of burgundy? I have no idea. I'd be ok with a darker burgundy though.

If that is all Nike does I won't complain.

Nike isn't doing anything. The team and the league are the ones that have a final say one a change. I'm not sure why everyone thinks Nike is going to change every teams jerseys and logos. They have no final say on that.

What make's people think that Nike can just re design NFL uniforms? am I missing something? I believe the owners hold the rights for design changes. Nike can only change the material of the uniform. am I right or wrong?

I'm pretty sure teams would approve the jerseys. I agree, I don't think Nike can just come in and redo every team's jersey.

This time last year, an NBA exec made the very strong case that, among losing organizations, the Washington GM job was the most coveted seat in the league. A year later, that still holds true. It's my full expectation that Wall will be a Most Improved Player candidate, if not the favorite, in this upcoming season. After a disappointing and injury-riddled rookie campaign, the stage is set for Wall to lead the Wizards right back into playoff contention. Few players have a ceiling as high as Wall's.

But what the Wizards possess that most losing teams lack is an attractive market for free agents. The cap space that they'll win once they amnesty Rashard Lewis next season -- which I fully expect them to do -- will allow them to chase a big name in free agency and invest in their budding youth. (Sorry, I can't include Andray Blatche on that list, by the way). The Wizards should have a nice spot in the lottery next season, and considering the wealth of talent, a No. 10 pick could net a typical No. 5 prospect.

Definitely. Though I think I'd prefer the DC logo at center court rather than the Wizards.

Is it just me or is every title match lately some combo of Cena/Punk/Del Rio?

I remember in the Attitude Era seeing Austin/Rock/HHH/Taker/Kane/Jericho/Benoit/etc. Now it seems like only 3 people have a chance for the title anymore. Pretty lame seeing the same guys over and over.

I'm sure this already been said, by NFL Preseason Live is nice for now. $15 to watch the preseason games is a pretty decent deal. Yeah you have to watch on your computer, but its better than nothing.

Its totally like DX V2.0, and I think that worked well. It gave people a rival on the other team. But didn't make them face off all the time.
