The penalties setting us up in bad situations.
Going to have to tighten up and crawl back into this one.
Hopefully not down more then 10-6 into half.

Our secondary playing really sharp tonight.
Fun watching them out there.

Yikes!
Epic meltdown.
-
Wow a punt.
Best drive of the day so far for the Vikings.
3 plays for 2 yards lol

Boooooooooo.
Horrible flag.

Justin Fields. WOW.
How did he break that?

Don't overrate the defense while our offense is only putting up 17 PPG.

There is zero reason to go back to Wentz. He will be cut after this season. Frankly, his NFL career might be over.
TH is the starter and Sam is the backup.
Remember there isn't a GM making these decisions.
Dan is paying Wentz $28million and will probably put him back in.

IMO, Houston and Cleveland are the most likely games to prevail in to get you to 6. Atlanta would be another, gets you to 7. Splitting with NYG gets you to 8. Minnesota is the most overrated 6-1 team in league history, steal that one at you're at 9. That alone should be good enough. And by the regular season finale, Dallas might be in the best position it'll be in for the playoffs and might only play their guys for a half.
Of course the Skins aren't special and we likely can lose half those games I mentioned above lol. But the league itself, outside of PHL, BUF, and KC, isn't special.
Vikings game is definitely winnable. Perfect trap game for Cousins.
Giants will probably sweep us though. We generally get rolled by divisional opponents with something on the line.
Dallas' backups will probably roll us too if we're playing for a spot.

Bryce Young is not gonna be a durable starter in the NFL and there is no way any team should ever take a Ohio State qb! Young is too small (who wants a 5”11 195lb qb!) and name me one Ohio State qb that has done anything in the NFL?
Give me a 6’3 primarily in the pocket qb that has played a few years in college. No more one year wonders no matter how good their numbers are. I rather have the Levis from Kentucky or Van Dyke from Miami, both of who can be had in the middle to late first round.
Most mock drafts have Young/Stroud/Levis all going in the top 5.
Although this year the mocks were all wrong on QBs.

Pick 14 right now. Zero idea about QB. They aren’t trading for one. They aren’t signing one. Won’t be able to draft one there.
WHAT THE **** ARE WE DOING!?! WHAT IS THR PLAY?!?
Team is so beyond frustrating.
Snyder needs a big splash and trading into the top 3 for Young/Stroud could be it.
Rivera will probably be like Shanahan and advise not to trade multiple first round picks.
Rinse and repeat.

I'm not as convinced as everybody else around here that the Wentz experience is over.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be just that I wouldn't bet the farm that we won't see wentz playing for this team ever again.
As long as we're not eliminated from the playoffs I'd expect Wentz to go back in.
And that decision will come from Snyder.

Problem with these types of games is that Indy isn't going to give our defense that many chances to make big pays.
They will run the ball and use a horizontal passing game.
All 3 of their RBs can catch the ball and guys like Paris Campbell/Alec Pierce can make plays in the open field.
Defense has to wrap up and contain the edges.

Take away the pick 6 and missed field goal and the final score doesn't look no where near as close. Plus those tacky penalties on Green Bays last scoring drive and this game is more like 26-7
Why would you take away the pick-6 or the missed field goal?
Taylor's first 3 or 4 throws were directly into GB defender hands.

Great play design, froze the safety.
What a catch!

Get him out of the pocket. PLEASE.

On any other team that's clearly defensive holding or PI.
WTFNot getting that call with that kind of throw.
Even holding where a catchable pass doesn't matter.

Looks like more of the same Turner playbook.
Heinicke is a sitting duck back there

If he throws it to hard that close you clowns will say he has no touch.
That was a quick out to the sidelines, not a touch throw.

Heinicke is the backup. This is what he gets paid for. Trotting out Howell behind a backup Center isn't ideal. (and Larson is coming off injury too)
Most likely the back to back against NY will end our season and we might see some Howell after that.
We can then cut Wentz without a cap hit in 2023.
If we're still alive in 6 weeks then Wentz goes back in.

He looked just as bad in man as in zone here.
Guy has lingering injuries or something.

At least St-Juste made the game winning play.
But wow... what a horrible football game.

Not that I have faith in a drive but at least we're using our timeouts.
