  1. I think it says a lot about Rice Jr that he's run out of town and four years later Seraphin has turned himself into a valuable contributor.
  2. I think Miller and Robinson could be a great combo. Whoever is feeling it on any given night, whatever pace and style of play any situation calls for. Just think it works out perfectly.
  3. I think we're using early season games to get Martell back in the floe
  4. We're the better team. We got this. If I'm wrong, you all pick my avatar. Whatever gets seconded first.
  5. I apologise if this has already been touched on recently. Been a little preoccupied with...life. Wanted to post about it now while on my mind... 980's NBA/Wizards insider Michael Adams in studio right now. Asking him about our now-open 15th roster spot and what we should do with it: keep it open for the chance Pierce can convince Allen to come aboard? Or do something with a PG since Miller is so hot and cold these days (or young and old)? I think I like Adams' idea and don't recall seeing him name mentioned before: Nate Robinson. What you all think?
  6. Don't get me wrong, it was all in good fun. It wasn't rude or disrespectful or anything like that. It was everything sports fandom and rivalries should be. Both with smiles on our faces as we talk ****. And the great thing about sports, there will be a winner and a loser. Oh my God I'm gonna spend the next whatever-months plotting my ****-talking to random-gas-station-attendant LeBron-fan Sikh on the chance we might face them in the playoffs. I will own him.
  7. Just had a great example of why I love basketball, why I love America and why I love the DMV. Stopped at some gas station out in 29 between Gainesville and Warrenton. Dude working the register was this older Sikh, heavy accent, probably in his 50's. I'm rocking an old blue Wizards skully. He mentions that he likes it. I tell him, true story, that I actually got it at the first game John Wall ever played in DC. That they were handing them out at his home debut. He says he watched our game last night and he was impressed but unfortunately he's the fan of someone else. I ask who... "LeBron James." Wrong answer. We proceed to argue for at least the next ten minutes. No exaggeration. We got into it. It continued on as he checked out at least four more customers (he continues to argue with me the entire time he's ringing then up, everyone laughing.) The two ugliest moments came when he said that LeBron at 65% was more of a winner than KD and then, worst of all, tried to argue that Kyrie was better than Wall. That really set me off. I promised him I would be back next time we played. And that he would see me every single day if we faced off in the playoffs. God help him if we knock them out. . So yeah, a 50+-year-old, turbanned-up Sikh arguing NBA basketball at work in Prince William/Fauquier County, VA with some nerdy white kid reppin'the long-losing hometeam. God bless the DMV. God bless the USA. **** LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
  8. He really is one of the VERY few players I've seen in my entire life who can score 15 points AND COMPLETELY dominate a game Lol, my bad Destino. Swear I wasn't even thinking of you
  9. I'm not going to name names but I'm almost positive there were folks on here who were swearing off following the Wiz as long as Ernie was in charge as a result of the Javale/Nene trade. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but I don't think so
  10. You got it all wrong baby. It's not hate. It's love. We do it to you because we love you.
  11. Ain't worried. We're a vet team now. We'll close this ish out. And we're simply the better team
  12. I love our team. And I love listening to national channels broadcast our games
  13. One of those yearly locks that never fails. No bs, I'd be willing to put money on it. Him and Nene. Which got me thinking, is ATL in a better a spot to cover Horford missing time or are the Wiz better equipped for Nene's seasonal vacation?
  14. Call it now: who's going to be in the Finals?
  15. Not too many in the league who can pick up a tech after getting the **** fouled out of them. Nene has Def grown on me over the years
  16. Rice is who he is. A douche. Pretty clear by now. Wish him the best though.
  17. What do you mean? I know the play you're talking about but what didn't you know you could do?
  18. Thank God Joey stopped the game for five minutes to correct the shot clock from 12 to 13. Where would the integrity of the game be without people like him?
  19. Watching a replay of the Knicks/Kings game from last week. Cousins is just straight beasting it up. Knicks are on their third center as the first two fouled out trying to guard him (and God bless him, he's hitting his free throws). Wonder....will there be a real, significant Cousins or Durant free agency debate in the 2016 offseason?
  20. I've been curious about something too: Randy. Has your opinions of him changed? If so,how? Does it say anything about being a successful coach in the NBA?
  21. I'm taking that as the greatest "we just beat you" troll face ever, made even better by Bosh behind Howard out of uniform, in a suit
  22. Let's try to keep this thread serious. Hopefully I'm not too late, in Curry I see a lot of Dana Barros or, to keep it local, Michael Adams. Definitely has the potential to be a contestant in the 3 Point Shootout one day.
  23. Really wonder what the politics behind it is. Like what's the true story. At this point, what we've witnessed, I'm convinced there's something there. Whether Ted pissed the League off, Wittman has pissed someone off, Wall, Nene. There's something there
  24. I really wonder how the Nets being in Brooklyn is going to affect the Knicks. If at all.
