Exclusive: Oath Keepers Leader Stewart Rhodes' Children Speak

Elmer Stewart Rhodes, the founder and leader of the antigovernment Oath Keepers organization, was, at the time of publication, in federal custody awaiting trial for his alleged role in orchestrating events at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021.

Prosecutors' most recent allegations against Rhodes include that he attempted to contact then-President Donald Trump through an intermediary in the days leading up to the Jan. 6 insurrection. They further alleged that Rhodes, in a conference call with Oath Keepers members in the days following Trump’s election defeat, characterized Trump's opponents as a cabal of pedophiles.

In February, Hatewatch met with and interviewed Rhodes’ adult children: son Dakota Adams, 24, and daughters Sedona Adams, 23, and Sequoia Adams, 19, in Kalispell, Montana. Rhodes and his ex-wife, Tasha Adams, have three other children who are still minors, and are not included in this interview.

The conversation shed important new light on the psychology of the Oath Keepers founder and provided the untold story of the impact of his public activities on his family.

He’s a lot like Todd Collins from back in the day, he was super valuable to (OC we hired from KC who’s name I’m forgetting) but was less valuable to everybody else.  He knew that system and even though he wasn’t really physically gifted, (though he had a bigger arm than TH) he could execute the offense with.

But he didn’t get a lot of attention after that because he really was a product of that system.

Damn, I can’t remember the OC’s name.  And I’m going to be stubborn and not look it up.

    Al Saunders, I believe...

Jim Brown at 12? Mike Alscott above him? :806:

Clinton Portis on the list but John Riggins isn't? :806:

What is Deuce McCallister doing on this list?🤔

    Eric Dickerson at 20? :806:

Where did you get this list from?

Not sure where it originated but I saw someone post it on Twitter asking "What's missing from this list?"...I immediately thought "Any sense of football knowledge" lol...

If Portis is 14th all time statistically (which i think the list is based on) then why wouldn’t he be…?

OP am i missing something? Is somebody’s first or last name spelled wrong?

No way on God's green earth is Mike Alstott a better RB than Jim Brown, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, or damn near any of the RBs listed after him, He rushed for a grand total of 5,000 yards at 3.7 yards per carry lol...Where the hell is LaDainian Tomlinson?

And that's not Tiki Barber in that photo, that's his brother Ronde Barber lol...for starters.

Once teams figured out Taylor could not push the ball down field his game came apart. So no, he cannot still win you the games he could early last year.

Don't agree. Fans were figuring out Heinicke had a weak arm by like week 3. No way in hell it took all the other "football men" in the NFL another 2 months to do the same.

There are sooooooo many other factors that most likely played a role in his bad finish...and sometimes it's just that the "magic" runs out, so to speak. Some of his throws were "How the hell did that get caught?"...Some of his plays were "How the **** did he do that?"...teammate confidence in him growing by the week, team being on a roll, innate play-making ability with his legs, defense stepping up, playcalling improving--all helped with the winning. Injuries, COVID, arm probably wearing down as he played his first full season, lack of arm strength to make all the needed throws, playcalling not improving...all played roles in the team seeming to fall apart over the last 4 weeks.

Why is what hes saying so insane? A 40 year old beat out heinicke for the starting role last year

Yeah, and proceeded to dislocate his hip after throwing 6 passes and was out for the season lol...maybe the coaching staff and decision makers learned from that? Because it's clear some fans haven't.

  7. “Some mock drafts have Howell going late in the first round, while others have him as an early pick on Day 2. CBSsports.com has Howell going No. 41 overall to the Seattle Seahawks. Pro Football Network has him going as high as No. 11 overall to the Washington Commanders.

“He’s one that’s kind of hard to get a feel for, honestly,” Reid said. “The people that I’ve talked to around the league, some people see him as a bonafide first-rounder and some people see him as a top of the second round type of player.”
