  1. They OL wasn't special outside Trent, but they were very well suited for that zone running Offense. Unfortunately, that was pretty much all they could do.
  2. Biases against QB's who run a lot... ? The last one we had didn't work out so well, so more than a few people are punch drunk still. I'd take Caleb or Drake as a passer over JD, still.
  3. That's the thing... Peters hasn't led any direction at all! All he's done is allow the media talking heads to carry on as they wish. He has literally said nothing other than he feels comfortable staying at #2.
  4. Trade the 2nd overall to get another 1st, use it for JJ and Brock Bowers. I'll shut up now.
  5. That's kind of why I'm torn LOL! I'm extraordinarily concerned with how Daniels will hold up at the NFL level. It isn't about his size or musculature, it's his frame combined with his recklessness. He has a bit of seasoning that Maye doesn't have yet, so you're not working on the fundamentals as much. How high is his ceiling, though, when you factor that? I don't know. As much as I love watching a QB whose athleticism is a weapon, NFL Defenses have figured that out. It's about his frame and his ultimate ceiling. Maye... time will need to be taken honing his gifts as a passer, by which I mean cleaning up some of his fundamentals. I don't think he's a total crackhead a la younger Josh Allen, but he needs work. Is he still young enough for that to take? Dunno. There are questions about both, but I'm worried more about Daniels' physique more than I am the ability to "coach up" Maye. FOMO is strong with both.
  6. It's not just about bulking up, though, it's the frame. If you (not YOU you, but you get what I mean) could come to me and say "Don't sweat, it, he'll be alright," then cool. Otherwise, his recklessness will get him hurt in the NFL... badly. Some DE or LB trying to make a team will take a pre-season shot or someone with a chip on his shoulder will say "This is my chance" and it won't be pretty at the NFL level.
  7. Keim wants JD and has been trying to manifest it into existence based on he-said, she-said... and no one inside the team. Now he's hedging his bets. I know he has his defenders, but it feels like he's living off the graces of FO's of the past. My estimation of him and his petty saltiness on social media had plummeted this offseason.
  8. I don't believe Keim is any better informed or knowledgeable in this case than anyone else, especially with this new FO. I believe he thinks he is and is getting salty and Petty Labelle at people openly questioning him, but I don't believe he really knows a blessed thing.
  9. The more I read from Keim, the less I feel he has any clue at all what's going on.
  10. Why do I have a really weird feeling that Keim has been coming from behind this entire process, thinking he's ahead of where he is with concern to the new FO?
  11. ESPN has an SEC bias. They'll always push an SEC player, right or wrong. I'm not saying they're wrong, just saying...
  12. Same, same. I used to travel for work... a lot... two consecutive weeks out of every month for an entire year. All CONUS, but a lot. I know what fits in carry-on and what doesn't, don't trust the airlines and knew exactly what I needed for a trip versus what was fluff.
  13. I don't think this is as trivial as some. I mean... the Postons were this self-unaware.
  14. "the MOST dominant player in this year’s draft IS Jayden Daniels." Please draft him, Chicago
  15. I always think of the People's in Yorktown Shopping Center (now a CVS... intersection of 50 & Gallows in Falls Church) when I was a kid. My dad has a barber shop there. I got fat from burgers at the diner in the drug store LOL!
