Maybe. They’re very good, will be at home, and facing elimination. I think the extra motivation will see them play well. Nuggets will need to be better offensively than they were last night to win game six. I wouldn’t be surprised if this goes to seven games.

Styles make fights and Jokic has Gobert’s number. I think it’s that simple. I give Gobert a lot of **** but he’s clearly effective. The stats show it, as do the awards. It’s weird because you’d think with his length he’d bother a mostly below the rim center more.

Knick have more offensive rebounds (12) than the pacers have rebounds (11). These fools are getting out rebounded on their own end.

There’s five minutes left in the half and the Knicks have 24 rebounds while Indy has 7. Seven total rebounds. How is this even possible?

You guys think she’d be this big had she gone to UConn or LSU or something? I think a major part of her fame was the massive level of support she got at home. That’s where the groundswell of support began. It’s also where the sellout crowds began. Other schools win all the time, and they’ve had great players, but in Iowa she was a story.

That has to hurt if you’re a Mavs fan. Lead the whole night only for SGA to make absurd baskets while your team shoot 50% from the free throw line and pisses away a 3-1 lead. Luka even missed a clutch game tying free throw. seriously though, shooting 50% from the charity stripe in the post season as a team is ridiculous. OKC shot 95%

When did D Mitch get hurt? Bummer for the Cavs. They were in this game at the end, would have been nice if they had their closer.

we ready to talk about how the wolves best game was when Rudy was home welcoming his new child? Jokic appears to have a strong preference in this series to who he wants guarding him. He seems to be much more aggressive when he sees Rudy on him compared to Naz Reid.

MVP and the defending champs have responded more strongly than I expected after those first two games. I thought the wolves had their number, but the champs look like the champs again.

This game is going to tighten up. Minny is getting easier offense.

I think the understated value of Jordan Pippen was that you had two insanely good perimeter defenders that each played 40 minutes. Centers can be worked around, but two roving lunatics that will hound you all game while dunking on your head on the other end is a nightmare. Imagine the Wolves landing a young Paul George to pair with Ant for a decade. Imagine trying to game plan against that.

They need KAT or Naz to heat up. An 11 point lead is nothing in the NBA. I don’t think the nuggets are going to keep this 61% shooting going through the 4th. this really was a cool moment.

Wolves can still win this game, but you can feel their fans getting nervous. They were insanely dominant for two games and that feels like a distant memory now.

Really enjoying watching Gafford thrive in Dallas. Wizards fans were blaming him for the teams inability to play defense, but he’s been credited as being part of the Mavs defensive improvement.

yes but that was a tiny fringe of various lunatics, from anti-government types to healing crystal hippies. I had a neighbor that was like this. Very normal guy, nice family, totally convinced in “alternative” medicine. I also know a guy that died because he thought herbs and traditional medicine were better options for his colon cancer. there is always a group of deniers, but schools generally teach the majority view.

I knew the Covid vaccine had them howling, but I didn’t realize the rot had spread so far that teaching about vaccines was now impossible. and what this means is that kids will learn about the subject from TikTok instead. Wonderful.
