Anyone know when the last time the second round of the playoffs did not include KD, Steph, or Lebron? might have happened in some weird year, but it feels different today. They’re old and they all got beat with healthy teams around them. The sun is setting on a truly great era of basketball. One that saw the rise of positionless basketball, switch everything defense, pace and space, and analytics. Could even say it welcomed the euro step too, as that technically happened during Lebron career and became common place in the late 00’s.

Murray has never been an all star, but in the post season he’s as clutch as it gets.

This nuggets lakers game is great. Lakers are playing like you want to see from a team facing elimination. if you drank every time Reggie miller mentioned “altitude” you’d be long dead.

Jamal Murray popping up on the injury report could change everything. He’s got a rough history with leg injuries and there are no easy games ahead for the nuggets. They’re done if it gets worse. He’s mangled his legacy. He had the option to steal Curry’s but he left because he didn’t like his role in Kerr’s system. Failed hilariously with the nets. Got swept in the playoffs. Moved to the suns, has failed miserably and now has gotten swept again. Is complaining. all this dude had to do was stay with golden state and win. That’s it. Instead he’s proven that he can’t lead a team. He’s a taller Kyrie.

I agree the wolves defense is good. But you’re not going to tell me that squad is the best offense in the playoffs. Yet against the suns that’s exactly what they’ve been. Their 117 point average through three playoff games is 4 points better than second place (Indiana) I’m not buying it. They have to beat someone that is actually trying before I believe it.

Right but their offense isn’t great, and yet the suns have them looking like the best offensive team in the nba. I doubt that lasts as their competition shifts from disinterested Suns to teams that actually play together. Also I’m not sure they’re the most athletic team.

I’m willing to believe the Timberwolves are good, but they’re not this good. The suns have face planted in a way that suggests the locker room isn’t great. Down 22 to start the 4th at home in a game three? That’s just embarrassing.

The Suns imo are a much bigger disappointment than the Lakers. They’ve yet to put up a competitive performance in this series, and they’re in the process of getting blown out again.

Westbrook has played dirty all night and the announcers have covered for him. He finally got himself thrown out.

Got to hope some serviceable vets become available after the draft. I’m sure they were aware of the line needs, but the draft is unpredictable. The guys they valued likely just didn’t drop to them where they’d hoped.
