To be fair, we shouldn't expect Ted to dump all over himself. Plus, there are people in Monumental that will remain and you don't want to pile on them either. Listened to Winger get interviewed after the press conference. He understands the need to grow a new culture for the Wiz. He understands what needs to be here to attract stars. He's going to be good.

Watching the news conference. This is an amazing day for the Wiz. Most impressive front office in decades. I do wish Ted would speak less. Winger doing a good job sending a message that they aren't close to contending now but the goal is a championship.

I do agree with the larger point that most every form of entertainment and big business have extremely shady practices and I do have that problem with the NBA. For a long time I've tried to do things like buy local or made in NC or made in US and I try to pick and choose how I make and spend money. But it is really tough and there aren't always good choices. I watched the Olympics because those Olympians don't get to choose where to compete and that's the difference here. I don't know what the NBA would do if players voted on it. That would be more telling then the league office being sellouts and they rightly got raked over the coals for it. While I agree with the larger point, one country paid to fly planes into our buildings and attempted to do more damage than was done. While I'm sure China does evil **** towards us, especially on a cyber front, it's still not the same impact at this point. I with I had the clout to change business practices.

Apparently there is a game tonight. Looked at the schedule and if there is a game 7 it would be on the 18th. That's 17 days from start to finish for one series.

The ones that stayed don't have other options and I would bet, based on the articles, the pga players would not have supported the move. The LIV players voluntarily went for the blood money. There is a big difference.

No one is sleeping on Miami. The analysts are generally right about them. They have less margin for error than the Nuggets, but they can win it.
