    Meh. These are outlets that are used to having real things to dig into. Florio and these daytime "Volume vs. Facts" sports shows need something to talk about with thr nfl and a week before the draft. Between these shows and the presser with GMAP today, felt like they were talking about two different leagues.

    What stood out to me is the tempo and pace both GMAP and AGMLN speak. Their words are deliberate. They are thinking while they speak and not just saying things. It's a 180 from Ron who was talking probably too fast for his brain, so he would stick his foot in his mouth or have to put in a lot of fillers like "I really believe that". These pressers are about talking without giving anything away. I don't think anyone came away thinking they know more than they did this morning.

    The Soto move was the right one. Even if after this season Boras can't get him the deal he's been promising for years anymore. They traded away so much of the farm to get that WS Ring. This was the fastest way to reloading it.

    Gut says that GMAP, Quinn and their guys aren't too concerned over a stupid agent of a rookie who if taken, won't be negotiating anything new for at best 3 years. Reminds me of Peyton Manning talking at the ProBowl "I’m out at my third Pro Bowl, I’m about to go in and throw a touchdown to Jerry Rice, we’re honoring the Hall of Fame, and we’re talking about our idiot kicker who got liquored up and ran his mouth off.

    It's not a power struggle when the top boss makes the final call. Magic does a lot of great things in and around businesses, this reads as it was just one guy pushing BB and nobody else wanting to go that route. If anything, their system worked here.

    I get that money makes things better for Smartmatic and it probably means OAN will never mention them again. But without part of the agreement being that OAN needs to tell their viewers that they were misled by OAN on this topic over and over, at least through this election. It sucks for the rest of us.

    Looks to scale for what the other players got before Harris came in. From this angle it looks pretty cool to me. Not worried about statues for players, really. I think most for athletes look weird. The Jordan one in Chicago. The giant Numbers in Baltimore. The players in motion at Nats Park. Actually, I kind of like the Ernie Banks statue outside Wrigley.

    I'd prefer Dems stick to not commenting on if they'd help save him, and rather focus on the dumpster fire that is the ruling party in the house that already is the least productive perhaps ever.

    I get that. I would have let him keep playing here. But we'll see what Senzel does on his 1 year $2M deal. If they are going to play him, hopefully he becomes trade bait.

    It's probably the right move. My point was that Reese would probably get you more national attention and a few more nationally televised games. Last night on ESPN is was about Clark and Reese and showing their pressers. I didn't see anything from players drafted to other teams.

    he was getting on base and moving around the bases well. Because he was playing solid defense and at least getting himself into a position to score more than a few guys above him, I would have like to see him bumped up a few spots to try benefiting from it.

    Lipscomb being sent down is ridiculous. If anything he should have moved up a few spots in the batting order.
