Is this going to be the draft thread? #2 will go by quick. The mystery tonight is if we trade back up to get o-lineman. Welcome aboard to our qb savior Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye. I still think 6 qbs will be drafted in the first round.

That’s what it is going into the draft but could change if we trade up into the first round to get an OT or could change if we trade down and pick up a pick or two. If we trade back into the first round, I’d prefer somewhere after 20. Wherever we move up, only costs us one 2 and one 3. Welcome aboard Jayden. Supposedly the Athletic reported that while Daniels and Maye had supporters , Peters came to the conclusion that Daniels is the guy. I think the only surprise would be if it wasn’t Daniel’s. We have to do everything so he can last 10 years. I’d also draft a Brock Purdy type this year or next, in case Jayden doesn’t work out. I remember those dialup days. I was 32 in 2000. I remember the 91 superbowl run, as I lived in Falls Church that year.

I have no idea who we are drafting, though I think it will be Daniels. I am just hoping all the noise around Daniels causes us to skip him and we take Maye or McCarthy. Whoever we take, surround him with talent to succeed and an oline to protect him. I think because so many teams need a qb, there will be 6 qbs drafted in the first round. Teams might reach for Pennix and Nix, trade down a little and take them later or trade back up in first round to get them. What would be great if this class rivaled or surpassed the 1983.

We need to make sure he’s protected; so he’s a 10 year starter and not a 3-5 year starter, many of us fear.

They could switch picks. Minny gets Atlanta’s 8th pick and Atlanta gets either 11 or 23. Eagles and Cardinals did that with the tampering over their head coach and that was done right before draft started.

If Maye is really 3rd and they have concerns about Daniels’ character; seems like JJ is our guy.

Based on a true story of British agents sabotaging a Nazi ship. Ian Fleming based James Bond on someone involved in this mission. Gets an A.

I got a text from the Trump campaign and deleted it.

Daniels will go where the teams feel he should go. It will be funny as hell if he drops out if the Top 10. If we don’t take him, my guess the Pats take him or someone trades up to Pats spot and takes him.

I prefer we stand pat or even trade down a little for one of our second and third rounders. Having 6 picks in top 100 is an opportunity to find at least 4 starters. If we can get 4 or even all 6, that would be a historic draft.

Isn’t one of the provisions classifying this as a loan? Or was it a wish of the gop? Heard some goper congressmen babble something about how the bill was split into 4 parts, with loan being 4th part?

Hung jury is likely result. That would help Trump because, even if there’s a retrial; it wouldn’t happen in 24. An outright not guilty verdict would help him more.

If Pats trade down, they likely aren’t drafting a qb and riding with Brissett for 24.

Pierce maybe willing to trade up but I read the Gm isn’t.

He wouldn’t get past Minny, Denver and Vegas. One of those teams would draft him.
