Peregrine
I just checked, and the Patriots have not 2, not 3, but 4 second round picks. Not only that, they have ANOTHER 4 third round picks. All in all, that is 8 picks in the first three rounds, the first 100 picks of the draft, or 1 in 12 of all of the first 100 draft picks. Does anyone have a history on how the Patriots acquired the picks they have? So, in three years are we going to look back on drafts like this by the Patriots and see 4-5 starters from just one draft? deejaydana
we don't manage the draft well. The biggest (continual) mistake in my mind is that Snyder and his henchmen seem to think we are always one player away from the Lombardi. You need role players as well guys. We come into the draft every year it seems with half (or less) of the picks of the other teams in our division.
SkinsOrlando
http://www.extremeskins.com/showpost.php?p=6358453&postcount=2860 I'm not reposting it again, the pats are good at stockpiling picks, HOWEVER, they don't seem to produce. The Pats bread and better is FA and trades.
jthor99
The Patriots prove once again why they are smarter then everyone else. I'm still baffled why Baltimore traded up to get Oher. It made little sense to me. They could of held tight at their slot and drafted the guy.
ExoDus84
Its nice they have all those picks. But, obviously, not all of them are going to make the team, and is mostly camp fodder. There's should be some decent rookie FA's available though.
