Even so, I think the Lions are probably looking to deal Williams, perhaps to San Diego for multiple picks . . . or perhaps for a package involving Rivers? I feel sorry for him and hopefully he can play a whole season because he can play when healthy. The thing is that with Harrington or Garcia throwing them the ball they won't be that good this year. The President Posted April 23, 2005 Share Posted April 23, 2005 Three years in a row, the Detroit Lions have drafted a WR with their first round pick. Then they signed Kevin Johnson last night. Why dont the Lions take heat for this? I mean Joe Gibbs gets blasted for taking a QB, and the Lions get praise for drafting three WR in the first round for the last three years. That team is garbage.
