js79
does anyone think so?? Cliff russel was just used as a deep threat in college, just like Roddy white.. and he never developed into the receiver we thought he would be.. I been reading reports on Roddy and kinda scared he might be another Cliff Russell.
Dirk Diggler
No, no, no. I'd actually be thrilled if we went CB with our 9 and landed White at #25. He's a stud. Think Chad Johnson without all the mustard.
skinzfan4life
Cliff might have been decent, but didnt he blkow out his knee in camp?

Yeah, it's his best attribute. I would say him and Mike Williams have the best hands. The only reason that White isn't a top 10-12 prospect is because he played in Conference USA and is a little rough around the edges (route running, reading coverages, etc.). VaSkinsNut
White has terrific speed, burst, and hands. He's not Cliff Russel.
Riggo-toni
Cliff Russell's problem was if he sneezed too hard, he tore a muscle. Does Roddy White have an injury history?
Dirk Diggler
http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/playerDetail.jsp?yr=2004&org=9&player=10 Never missed a game. Dude got better every year too and that's without anyone good to take the pressure off him. Seriously, can anyone name the last good UAB QB, RB or WR? Riggo-toni
Thanks. Good info. With more emphasis on no contact rules, I think speed will be at even more of a premium in years to come. We might be ahead of the curve stocking up on speedsters.
Ernie5
I'd be happy to wind up with White & I wouldn't blame Cliff anyway.
