kappaluvacee
I saw somewhere that Morton has a clause in his contract that will allow him to be a FA if the team doesn't pick up his option. They were talking about it during the season when Betts started having decent games returning kicks...
Clark84
We should go ahead and cut our losses, This guy had one good game in his career vs Buffalo and he parlayed that into a nice payday with us. He had that one kick return for us, but besides that not enough returns for our investment. Betts, Brown, and Thrash immediately improved the return game. Pocono
Wasn't Morton the guy who required 5th rd comp and you didn't have a 5th rd pick so you traded the next year's 4th for the Pat's 5th and then found out the pick had to be a better pick than your own slot so you traded the pick you had just traded for plus something else to get the pick that you ended up giving the Jets? The Skins replaced Moeton with a guy who was unemployed well into 04 so wouldn't other teams think they could find someone somewhere else who is better than Morton? jrfriedm
IF you put on the block along with Gardner you could probably get a low second round pick, or a high Third.

They let us take coles but tried to get our offer to morton nullified for some reason (forgot what it was). The arbitrator ruled in favor of us and we got morton. :puke:
