If it becomes part of the uniform....then it is part of the uniform. But in this case, Portis said he didnt like the way he looked out there.....(in the interview on Comcat) and if he didnt like the way he looked..then he would not play good. This was his spark. Skins26 Posted December 6, 2004 Share Posted December 6, 2004 Yeah Portis said he needed a spark and he didnt feel right, with the socks he felt right so he said he played better. Which is why I thought we should give the dark uni's or white on white's a try. I guess Taylor did it just because Portis did too. At first I saw Taylor and thought he was going college style with no socks on. Taylor dropped that pick at the end though, and from watching him every game thats been on TV here since he was a sophmore i've never seen him drop an INT that he gets both hands on, so my guess is he'll go back to the normal socks, while Portis may stay with the darks.
