Art
This is interesting coming a day after another Times writer says our cap is busted forever and we can't pay anyone anything to get better. Oh, but I guess columnists don't have to be factual . http://www.washtimes.com/sports/20011012-24215734.htm
bulldog
I read the Times but it is always with the knowledge that more than any other paper the "reporting" is always tinged with animosity and personal politics. The Post separates team reporting from editorial writing. There is the what/how/who/when and then the discussions of why? The Times has never recognized that these are two distinct areas. JimboDaMan
This made me almost fall out of my chair: "With the young talent that we have, we could be building a dynasty," Arrington said yesterday. "It's just taking some time to develop." What??? From the Times??? How can this guy slip this stuff by the editors? Maybe its just bs, maybe not, but its beautiful to hear. How accurate the prediction turns out is not the point - the attitude is. Yesterday this same rag said the whole team is in disarray and rebelling, and no sane free agent would entertain the idea of coming here because things are so bad. Seeya Bruce, ya underachieving malcontent. I'd rather hold a roster spot for a young guy who BELIEVES - and this attitude from Lavar is the way to go. Now if he can just show that consistently on the field .
