People have said I'm nuckin futs with my comment a ways back, of how Darrell could start this year, and be the third corner next, depending how Smoot and LLoyd pan out. 1 season? 2? I'm not looking for #28 to retire but 5 years after I'll be in Canton to watch him go into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I think it will be required to wear burgundy & gold that day. Greer has 6 career starts in 5 years and was released by Buffalo before they drafted Nate Clements. That says something about his potential at least in the eyes of Gregg Williams. Lloyd Harrison has never taken a rep in an NFL game at corner. Neither has Fred Smoot. These guys are greener than the apples I'm seeing in the stores this time of year. Terrell has been moved to safety. Whitfield looks to be a special teamer. Perhaps Smoot or Harrison comes on during the season, but I can't see Marty starting out with anyone other than #28 for the first few games at least. Ps. He11, someone would have to give him the Heimlich.... But do you see what Darrell is saying here? He's a better CB than Deion and he knows it. And he's calling Deion out. I can imagine what Darrell must feel about this whole Deion charade. And if Darrell wants to make it his personal mission to turn Prime Time into Pine Time nothing would make me happier.
