OrangeSkin
My prediction: Spurrier new coach, Ron Wolf new GM, Marty fired, another big contract, Spurrier goes 7-9, Snyder fires Spurrier, 2003-2004, next coach goes 7-9, Snyder fires next coach...it's never going to end. skinsfan44
My predictions are that Beathard is not coming back, Schottenheimer stays our Head Coach, Jimmy Raye is gone, Steve Spurrier is a Coach for another team, Tony Banks is also gone(thank god) and Snyder stays out of Marty's way so he can win us a g*d d@m SUPER BOWL. Well I can dream can I?
Guest The Angry Buddha
Snyder will blow the fans and media out of the water with a stunning Tuesday announcement... Bobby Beathard returns as the Skins GM Joe Gibbs returns as the Skins coach Well, probably not. But if it does happen, you heard it from The Angry Buddha first. ------------------

Art
Actually Buddha, I said it first lower on the board so don't you be stealing my thunder . My prediction is that we have made coaching staff changes and have hired a "consultant" named Bobby Beathard. That Gibbs thing is just too damn pleasing to consider . ------------------ Doom is in the box.
Sag
Buddha, If only Joe Gibbs comes back to coach, I'll be your "B*t*h " as long as he is here. [ by Sag on January 05, 2002.]

Skins57
It seems kinda funny how one coach is out of the league for 2 years and comes back and has a shot at .500, but the game has passed him by, but another name has come up that has been watching guys drive in circles for close to 10 years but he would be the answer....hmmmmmmm I am going nuts to find out what is gonna happen one hand I would hate to see MArty leave because he has started something good here, but on the other hand if Wolf and Spurrier could be had......... glad it is not my call Hail Skins
Om
Durn you both, Buddha & Art, I had the Gibbs thought as soon as the "Tuesday announcement" thing came to light, but was to Bozo-shy to voice it. Here's another prediction, then, along those lines: if Gibbs IS the next coach, it will take less than 15 minutes for the first post to appear on this board decrying the move as being yet another horrible Snyderesque gaff, for any number of reasons; such as that he's been out of the league too long, or won't be able to succeed under the salary cap, or his heart isn't really in it and it's all about the money, or ... You heard it here first. [Edit: sorry, Skins57, I managed to miss what you said in the first paragraph of your post above. Great mind, wot?] [ by Om on January 06, 2002.]

redman
I have no information that Gibbs even has interest in returning, other than that I've read somewhere he's acted as an informal consultant to the franchise ever since he left. But what about Gibbs as GM and Marty as coach? I'm sure the two men respect each other, and could work together as well as Marty could work with anybody. Bult like with everyone else, it's all speculation. ------------------ "Loosen up, Sandy baby.
