Skins26
I really dont know but they really need to tweak some things in madden STILL. Have you looked at that pic of Taylor in Madden, I see they still dont have the proper facemask style that he wears, and his visor doesnt come down far enough to touch the bottom of the facemask, so it looks really weird. They really need to work on the visors, the dark ones are not see through like they always are in madden. Is Joe Gibbs going to be in Madden or is it going to be like Parcells last year and not be in??? now that thats over with here are mine: Mark Brunell = 86 Patrick Ramsey = 87 Clinton Portis = 97 Laveranues Coles = 95 Rod Gardner = 86 Darnerian McCants = 80 Chris Samuels = 93 Derrick Dockery = 79 Cory Ramer = 81 Randy Thomas = 93 Jon Jansen = 92 Chris Cooley = 71 Phillip Daniels = 80 Cornilius Griffin = 87 Jermaine Haley = 72 Brandon Noble = 74 Regan Upshaw = 76 Renaldo Wynn = 74 Lavar Arrington = 99 Michael Barrow = 90 Marcus Washington = 88 Shawn Springs = 89 Sean Taylor = 83 (just cause he's a rookie, he definitly deserves at least a 90) Matt Bowen = 78 Fred Smoot = 89 Ifeanyi Ohalete =

REDALERT
I don't exactly know, but we should be pretty explosive and pretty good on defense. I recently played in a madden 2004 tournament this past weekend and came in 2nd. At home, I inserted all our recent additions and the offense is pretty good with Portis in the backfield. I mean, this guys a beast (Portis). Running, catching and total power. I mean, with Portis in the backfield. I totally mastered the Spurrier offense unlike with Candidate being the lone wolf. But with candidate being the 2nd back, it's definitely a good change of pace. Candidate is still the speedster outta the backfield. But now, guys just can't seem to adjust with Portis being in the backfield and Candidate sparing him at times. And Brunell...Ramsey's still the power thrower. But Brunell is one accurate Mutha F!cker. This guy can hit a player on the dime and receivers don't drop as many passes as they do with Ramsey. The Brunell to Portis combination is almost unstoppable IMO. But That's if you only know what your doing see:D . Put the recievers on quick slants, cuts and outs and across the middle. I be killing people with these formations running the 5 receiver set. On defense, this defense plays pretty well when you blitz alot. If you play alot of read and react or just plain sitting in the zone, your arse is toast, IMO. I play alot of 3-4 pressure and dime packages, blitzing on the outsides with the dime-flat package. Anyhow, you guys more likely know all of this stuff and probably have a diffrent outlook and game plan. I just thought I would throw my 2-cents in here to stir up some excitement for Madden 2005. But in the tournament I won, well came in 2nd. Alot of the guys laughed when I said I was using the Redskins. NO respect for the Redskins under the current roster, but I showed there arse. That's because using the updated roster I created at home with Brunell, Portis and others. It helped my game dramatically using the old roster. This my friend helped me get 2nd place and dissect the defenses I played against in the tournament and shutting up all those who doubted the Redskins in the tourney. But one quote I felt good about was most of the guys didn't respect the Redskins in Madden now. But did say they're gonna be HELL in madden come 2005. Yes! I liked....but had to show them what the current roster could do also. They couldn't understand it, how I was demolishing the teams I played and moving the ball at will. Man! I'm the Sh!t in Madden, don't you agree? Oh Yea! before I forget................. One concern is " Will the Gibbs offense of system be as unique as the Spurrier offense of system on madden, or will it be much better? " Not worried about the defense, cause I'm already using the attack packages and it works for the updated roster.
PCS
Well, let's hope that a little of this somehow translates to Redskins for real. Now that would be nice.
NavyDave
Gibbs will incorporate some plays from Spurrier but I believe Martz and the panther offenses are fair comparisons to how gibbs system can be explosive
Chopper Dave
Unfortunately, most of those are too high. Based on last season, nobody (or at least mostly nobody) was that good on our team. Here's how I think it will go, but keep in mind, everyone's ratings will probably jump in the updates if we do well: Mark Brunell = 84 (1 Year layoff, 84 is generous, but I think Madden will give the benefit of the doubt) Patrick Ramsey = 82 Clinton Portis = 96 Laveranues Coles = 92 Rod Gardner = 84 Darnerian McCants = 77 Chris Samuels = 93 Derrick Dockery = 78 Cory Raymer = 80 Randy Thomas = 91 Jon Jansen = 90 Chris Cooley = 69 Phillip Daniels = 75 Cornilius Griffin = 85 Jermaine Haley = 73 Brandon Noble = 65 (No decent player is at the same level after an injury like that) Regan Upshaw = 74 Renaldo Wynn = 78 (They always overrate him) Lavar Arrington = 96 Michael Barrow = 88 Marcus Washington = 84 Shawn Springs = 84 Sean Taylor = 82 Matt Bowen = 78 Fred Smoot =
Hitman56
Hopefully, the madden crew will watch some old Skins games to get the real Gibbs offense (with lots of motion and the counter trey) instead of putting in some generic offense this year and waitng until next year for the real thing. Has anyone ever played against Peyton Manning in Madden? It has to be the most annoying thing ever. He audibles on every play. I understand that they are trying to be realistic, but when he audibles for the 20th time in a row, it starts to get really old, really fast. freakofthesouth
1820, Barrow is a 90 on 2004. Not to mention, he led the NFL in tackles (?) last season. So, my guess is that he would be a 93 or something. DMac might get more love than 77, too.

Also, Madden tends to have players regress with age, regardless of their quality of play. I hope it's 93, but I doubt they'll go any higher than 90. Yeah, this is from a Redskin perspective, so I think Arrington's lack of discipline influenced me. 97-98 sounds about right. As for the accuracy, thanks. Just on more sign that I play WAY too much Madden.

Big O
Everybody is pretty accurate with the ratings, except for gardner and bowen are rated a little high. I would put gardner at 81 and bowen at 73. Offense: 89 Defense: 84 (our defensive line is very questionable)
