jbooma
According to espnradio.com and the Washington Post USC is going to ask the NCAA if they will let Mike Williams back in to play football. I think he is the only shot that Clarett would have to win the case. If Williams goes back to college it doesn't look good for Clarett.
TankRizzo
somebody cue up "I fought the law and the law won" for Clarett
TC4
Oh well, that will mean at least 2 more TDs for the Trojans when they play Virginia Tech up at FedEx Field on August 28th
fish
The NCAA should support this move. The ONY person getting yanked is the player. I'll bet they won't support it though.
@DCGoldPants
I think the NCAA will let him back in. Even though, he could sit out a year and train for football year round and still be a top pick.
Oldskool
Good for Williams. I didnt want him to leave USC early. They need another national championship or two and then he can go into the NFL draft
21dave
I really hope they let him back into the NCAA. If only because the NFL literally called him and said you're eligible for the draft and asked if he wanted in.
SoCalSkins
He gave up his eligility by hiring an agent. He should pay for his gamble. The rules should not be changed for him.
Number5
This is a tough call, but I hope he gets allowed back in. He deserves another chance.....unlike Clarett
SoCalSkins
Why does he deserve anything? TheNFL told him that they would try and reverse the ruling and it was likely that he would not be eligible for the draft. He could have declared without hiring an agent and retained eligibilty. He decided to take a gamble by hiring an agent. He could still end up in a supplemental draft if he wins his case, otherwise, he can play in Canada or the arena league for a year. I think they are gonna suck this year. They lost the 2 best players on there roster (jones and hall). They lost their only wideout that was sort of a threat and a couple dlinemen. I really see this being a long season for va tech unless marcus vick becomes mike vick.
Jimbo
I think the NCAA almost has to reinstate him. They'll probably get pressure from the NFL to do so, otherwise a judge is going to let him in a supplemental draft.
