Bozman777
How about this guy in the second! Isaac Sopoaga Defensive Tackle Hawaii 6'3" - 318 lbs 5.0 Estimated 40 Isaac Sopoaga is another fast rising prospect. He posted 42 reps on the bench at the combine, beating Igor Olshanky's mark of 41. After he finished, someone mentioned to him that he was near the combine record of 45 posted by Bruce Clark and he was upset, stating that he could have easily done 4 more. Not only is he strong as an ox, he's quick and disruptive in the backfield. He holds the national junior college record of 31 sacks in a year.. which is amazing coming from a defensive tackle. He is also a very good run stopper who can plug the gaps in the middle. I feel there is a good chance a few teams will become enamoured with his athletic ability much like last year with former Kentucky DT Dewayne Robertson, which will land him in the first round, but he could be a steal in the 2nd round if he were to fall that far. jimster
wow, 42 reps I don't know anything about any players from Hawaii, but an impressive sack stat for a DT (even though it was junior college)

Oldskool
There are a multitude of D lineman in th 2nd/3rd rounds this year. Alot of these guys are solid, blue chip players that can help any team that needs starters/depth on the D line.

He wasn't a bad player:cheers:
jimster
I'm just hoping a player like this, maybe one from a smaller school, will fall to use in our low round picks.

Potato Sack
It would be nice to pick up a diamond in the rough. Unlike Spurrier and his minions, Joe and co. will know what to do with them!
SkinsNorth
Sopoaga is still very raw and does not dominate like one would expect. But he does have the size and strength to play in the pros. The 2nd is a bit early for him. I think he is more like a 3-4 round pick.
Shotgunner
Taylor is tempting but we have so many needs on D. It makes sense to get more picks, and maybe a gem in there.:gaintsuck
NavyDave
I prefer to stay pat and grab S Taylor and trade up to the 3rd or 2nd round.
