Dan T.
While in the limelight, David Letterman always aggressively sought to keep his private life private. For as relaxed and verbose he was as an interviewer, he was always tense and reticent at the receiving end of questions. Now that he's retired, it appears he's loosened up. The link below is to the transcript of Dave's conversation with a writer from a tiny magazine out of Montana called "The Whitefish Review." Why the Whitefish Review? Two reasons... a Whitefish editor happens to be friends with Letterman's publicist, and Letterman has seemingly fallen in love with Montana. The conversation is sprinkled with gentle humor and finds Dave at his most introspective self. Well worth the read for anyone and, dare I say, required reading for Letterman fans. http://www.whitefishreview.org/archives/2015/12/david-letterman-interview/ . . . . Destino
That was better than I expected and I'm not really much of a fan. I watched the show sometimes, that's the extent of my connection to Letterman.
