As for the rest of your post, nah. Looks like you would fit right in with the faculty. Really? I don't think I've heard anyone refer to my female colleagues as "waitress." I may have said stewardess once or twice in my life, but that was usually in reference to someone who worked back when TWA was a thriving airline.
