Since Snyder took over as owner

Record when opposing team scores 24 points or more:  11-87 (.11 winning percentage)

How those 11 wins are split up among Skins' QBs:

Griffin - 6

Campbell - 2

Brunell - 1

Johnson - 1

Ramsey - 1

(I gave the Ravens victory to Griffin since he played all but 6 offensive snaps)

For comparison's sake, here are the records over that same timespan of a few other teams picked at random:

Vikings  31-90  (.26)

Bears  21-65  (.24)

Dolphins  12-65  (.16)

Lions  17-116  (.13)

Browns  15-100  (.13)

Redskins 11-87 (.11)

Keep in mind that the Lion's record includes the season when they went 0-16...and they're still ahead of us lol...

Number of times a WR has averaged 17+ yards per catch for the season (minimum 30 receptions):  6

How those 6 seasons are split up:

DeSean Jackson - 21.8 ypc

Anthony Armstrong - 19.8

Albert Connell - 19.5

Michael Westbrook - 18.3

Albert Connell - 18.3

Santana Moss - 17.7

Number of times a defensive player has had 7+ sacks in the first 9 games: 7

How those 7 players rank:

Marco Coleman - 9.0

LaVar Arrington - 8.0

Andre Carter - 8.0

Ryan Kerrigan - 7.5

Brian Orakpo - 7.5

Andre Carter - 7.0

Brian Orakpo - 7.0

Top 5 most effective pass rush defenses through first 9 games (pass attempts per sack):

2000 - 9.8  (1 sack every 9.8 pass attempts)

2011 - 10.2

2009 - 10.5

2014 - 13.1

2002 - 13.5

Top 5 worst defenses in terms of INTs through first 9 games:

2006 - 2

2014 - 3

2005 - 4

2009 - 5

2008 - 6

Even though special teams TDs and the other team scoring defensive TDs come into play, lets break down the 98 games where the opponent scored 24 or more by D-coord:

Nolan: 7 in one year

Rhodes: 4 in one year

K. Schott: 3 in one year

Lewis: 7 in one year

G.Edwards: 10 in one year

Williams: 17 in four years

Blache: 9 in two years

Hazmat: 41 in 4.5 years

Enough said, we can almost blame this whole mess on Jim Hasslet.  Shocking this douchebag is still around.

Mother of Zeus.

Haslett shouldn't be hired on as a pee wee league coach with an absolutely ATROCIOUS record/stats like that. Unbelievable, man. Lets dive into this a bit further:

Other D coaches: 57 times in 11 years - 5.1 per year

Haslettsteamsscore: 41 times in 4.5 years - 9.1 per year.

Defense 24+ points allowed per game (by year):

   1) 2014: 5 of 9 - 55%

   2) 2013: 14 of 16 - 87%

   3) 2012: 9 of 16 - 56%

   4) 2011: 6 of 16 - 37%

   5) 2010: 7 of 16 - 43%

So Haslett's defense allows 24+ roughly 57% of the time.

This turd is literally almost twice as bad as any other D coach we've had. Please, oh lord please, flush this floater down the drain and out of the front office.

To be fair, Haslett is also coaching d with the best offenses we've had in snyder's term.  Teams tend to score more when they have to.  When you can beat a zorn-led offense with a score of 17-6, why not just run out the clock and go home?  Still a bad record and he should still be fired, but that context should be taken in to account.

Just decided to do a little study breaking down the number of times every team has allowed 24 or more points per game since (and including) the 2010 season.  Cali's number of 24 seems to be on the money, as the average points scored in the 2013 season per team was 23.41.  Therefore, here's how it breaks down, based on either 73 or 74 games played:

Number of games allowing 24 or more points:

below 20: Pittsburgh in a class by itself with 18, including a mere 2 combined in 2010-11

20-24: 4 teams (Miami, Baltimore, Seattle, San Francisco)

25-29: 4 teams (Cincy, KC, AZ, Chicago)

30-34: 9 teams

35-39: 7 teams (including NYG with 38 and Dallas with 39)

40-44: 6 teams (including Philly/Indy/Hou with 40, Skins with 41, Oakland/Minnesota with 42)

above 45: the Jags with 46

Congrats Haz......you're not at the bottom!
