HittinSkinz
The projected trade was Rod 50/50 Gardner to SF for Terrell Owens and a 1st round pick Interesting.. But it wouldnt have mattered if Ramsey can't get the ball to them.. He is on his back more than a prostitute on a saturday night
SkinsThug
I rather keep Gardner than get that POS on the team.
Sarge
Like we need another head case here.
HittinSkinz
Well that "POS" can make plays.. which is more than I can say for 50/50 Gardner. He makes plays once in every 5 games... Not a good ratio.
Storm
Isnt Owens a free agent after this year. whats the point of that trade?
NavyDave
that would have been an extremely stupid trade and its a rumor I dont understand why anyone would take seriously.
js79
yeah lets get terrell owens, when clearly, the problem is not at WR but at offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, safety, tight end.. hell lets keep getting WR's when that position is where we're the strongest in.. i think snyder is playing madden too much, thinking if he has 2 90+ OVR rating wrs, somehow we will win
HittinSkinz
yeah but If TO comes here and has 1800 yards receiveing and made the pro bowl and we made playoffs.. i bet you wouldnt deem it a "extremely stupid trade " then.. The point is that this team needs a spark.... and no one on this current roster is capable...
Skyward72
I would have liked the trade had TO not been a free agent after this year.
js79
okay, tell me how TO gets 1800 yards when we can't goto a 5 step drop without ramsey getting his brains knocked out..
AkaD
That trade was nothing but speculation. The only thing the Redskins did was entertain an offer. The mere fact that he can be gotten in free agency at the end of the season and throwing in our problems with protection it's completely ridiculous to make a move like this. Adding another receiver isn't going to help our offense right now, and even thinking that TO can help our penalty and blocking problems is downright comical. It would be awesome to pick him up next year, along with better lineman and supporting coaches for Spurrier, but it would be a moronic move to give up a 1st round pick when he would sign the same contract at the end of the season without losing the pick. ross3909
Hello Offensive line, Defensive line? We dont have them and we are kind of missing them. Maybe we should pay some attention to that. Not a sermon, just a thought.
JetSolo
When the skins had Westbrook I didn't root for the guy. Didn't like his attitude. T.O. would be the same deal. Why would anyone want to see these scumbags accumulate on the team they root for? It's bad enough you gotta root for the rest of the laundry in spite of Arrington. GSF
If we only had better receivers we'd win. Wait a minute, all we have is receivers. Can Owens play DT?
Skeletor The Invincible
What the hell? A WR? Are you guys crazy? No, We need defensive line, and then more DL.
Duke
Forget about the prick. We have enough offensive talent right now. Defensive line, baby...

Joe Sick
If we traded for Owens, and he didn't sign with us next year, wouldn't we have Gardner's salary to give to John Abraham? Then draft a DT in the second. What if Owens gave us the spark for a second half playoff push? Move McCants up to second string next or Jacobs with a year under his belt. I liked it, if the salary cap numbers were doable. Too bad it was just fantasy league talk....
inmate running the asylum
This was a ridiculous rumor and an impossible trade this year. We would have needed about $4 million in cap space this year alone to accomodate T.O.'s salary, which we don't have.
Guest Matt Kyriacou
Ridiculous trade, but please don't hate on T.O. He gets cool points alone for desecrating "the Star" twice in Dallas.
